Wednesday had a pit in her chest. All she could think about was Alara, how she was starving herself, she couldn''t handle it. She had noticed Alara's distancing, how she stopped eating at lunch with them, how she didn't come to their hang outs anymore, how she'd miss her and Wednesday's study sessions. Wednesday didn't like it one bit, it hurt to see her trying to get away from her. She started to wondering if she pushed her boundary, Wednesday was never good with those, when people set a boundaries Wednesday struggled to notice that they did, and then it would take her longer to accually follow the boundary in the end. It was day 7 of Alara not showing up to lunch, and Wednesday cracked.
"Have any of you talked to Alara recently?" Yoko asked as she sat down with her pouch of blood, Enid following closely behind with her tray of food, mostly meats like ham and beef. "I haven't seen her in a hot minute, at least outside of classes." Wednesday let out a grown, and put her head on the table. It was a sudden display very out of character for their monotone friend. So it caught everyone's attention quickly.
"What's up with you?" Enid asked in response to her out of character friend. But Wednesday quickly snapped back into character. And She waved them off.
"Nothing. I'm going to find Alara." She stood up and left th table a few "oooo"'S following her as she left the table. But she didn't look back at the table as she left to find Alara, she knew something was wrong. She went back to their dorm opening the door to see Alara sitting on her bed reading a book. Wednesday coudn't help but smile, the way the light hit her hair and face, she was gorgeous. Wednesday flickered the lights making Alara look up and at her, her face falling when she saw her. "Hey." was all Wednesday signed to her.
"Hey." Alara signed back?.
