Zephyr was walking around the estate late in the evening, checking if everything was in order. The weather was quite windy along with slight drizzling. Crows were cawing in the background. Considering the weather and Zephyr's lengthy pitch-black hair along with his pale white porcelain skin, along with his dark hooded cloak, made him resemble a grim reaper exactly.

"Cloudy today....," he mumbled as he looked at Sera as she arrived by her car. This time too, his gaze was fixated on her as his ash-colored eyes scanned her features and every smallest of detail.

"Good evening, How was your day?", he asks with a slight bow, his sharp eyes never leaving her.

"Fine...", Sera replied coldly, not wanting to continue the conversation.

Zephyr raises his eyebrows for a moment but quickly regains his composure. "Very well milady", he answered with a small smile. He observed that she was tired and her weary expression, but his cold demeanor remained unchanged. "May I assist you with your coat, milady? The rain seems to be catching up", he asked politely, his deep voice unwavering as he moved closer to Sera. All Sera did in response was a loud sigh and started undoing her trench coat. A small smile appears on her lips as Zephyr steps forward to help her remove her jacket, his muscular arms gently taking hold of the fabric. He carefully hangs it up on a nearby hook before returning to her. "Would you like some hot tea or perhaps a warm bath? You seem quite tired".

"None of it actually", Sera replies as she places her bag on the couch and climbs onto the bed, not caring to change clothes or remove shoes. Zephyr observes her lying on the bed with her shoes still on. "As you wish, milady", he mumbles softly. He waits for a few minutes before shaking his head slightly, tutting under his breath "Such a careless attitude".

He approaches the bed and removes her shoes with a gentle yet firm hand. His gaze never leaves Sera's sleeping form as he carefully covers her with a blanket, making sure she is warm and comfortable.

           (Timeskip to midnight)~

Sera stirred awake as she felt a presence next to her. She was still drowsy and her vision was blurry, making it difficult for her to see. She blinks her eyes open, to see Zephyr standing there. The moonlight illumination made his ashen-grey orbs shine like sapphires. Instead of getting scared, she found herself drowning in those eyes. It felt.......Nostalgic.  She was sure she had seen those pair of eyes somewhere. She was suddenly pulled out of her thoughts by Zephyr's husky voice. "You fell asleep instantly, milady. I was worried about you".

In response to which Sera let out a loud sigh and groaned, "Just go away mom...."

Zephyr's eyes flashed with annoyance but he quickly put on a facade and stepped back, giving her space and privacy, even though he felt a pang of jealousy at the thought of Sera being alone. He staggers outside the door, vigilant and watchful. He watches as Sera turns away from him and closes her eyes. All he wanted to do at the moment was to hold her close and never let go. But he knows that he can't do that. Not now, at least. What weird was that it's past midnight and while all the staff was sound asleep, Zephyr was pacing back and forth, trying to push down the emotions that are bubbling up inside him.
