Lyall the Werewolf: Finally, we're formally introducing Asuka's Filolials. And Filo.
Yeah, this year hasn't been super productive. No updates in quite a while. The last one was like, what, two months ago? Well, because I have so many hobbies, I get distracted easily.
On top of that, my house is going through renovations, and it's been a slow process, largely because the construction company my family hired hasn't given us the best experience so far. They definitely know what they're doing, at least half the time. Safe to say, we're not going to this company for future projects after this mess is finished.
Speaking of projects, I've got others I've been working on in the meantime. You've probably seen them on my profile. They're not ready for publishing yet. Just don't throw a request at me, and things will go smoothly.
And that's enough of my sorry life today. Onto our latest chapter.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since the egg hatched this morning, Naofumi's Filolial has been very energetic. It was covered in pinkish-white feathers and had bright blue eyes.
The first thing the Filolial did was perch itself upon Naofumi's head and chirped excitedly. It must have imprinted on him as its parent.
It was also quite hungry, so he and Raphtalia brought it down to the tavern to eat breakfast. They bought some beans and a bowl of soup. The Filolial happily gorged on the soup. It gave a happy tweet with each bite as Naofumi fed it. To the Shield Hero, it kind of felt like feeding a baby. Despite recently being born, it showed some intelligence compared to instinct-driven monsters and animals. At the same time, it still had the innocence of a newborn.
Naofumi thought it resembled a PikyuPikyu, a deformed condor-like bird monster that could be found in the field.
Good morning, Naofumi-kun, Raphtalia-chan!" Asuka greeted as she and her party approached Naofumi's table.
"Morning," Naofumi replied.
"Good morning, Asuka-san!" Raphtalia replied.
"You got a Filolial too? It looks happy." Asuka said as she observed Naofumi feeding his Filolial.
"Yeah. It's been this way since it hatched. What about yours? Did they hatch?" Naofumi asked.
Before Asuka could answer, her Filolials popped their heads out of her cleavage and chirped happily. How they managed to fit was a mystery.
"That's... an interesting spot to put them..." Naofumi said as tried averting his eyes while Raphtalia stared in fascination.
"They seem to like it in there." a bashful Asuka said.
"I remember when the Filolials we used for our trip to Callma Village buried their faces in her chest too." Elena said.
"They probably thought she hid food in there." Rino teased.
"Don't remind me..." Asuka sighed. That incident was troublesome in its own right because she was keeping her identity secret at the time.
She noticed the curious stares from the other patrons but chose to ignore them.
Her chicks jumped out from her bouncing breasts and floated down to the table to greet Naofumi's chick.
The Filolial chicks got acquainted and immediately became fast friends. They ate together and played together. They hadn't forgotten their loyalty to their owners either.
