"What about you?" He suddenly asked after a moment of silence, turning to fully look at me.

"Uh..." I looked down. "Reading and, uhm," I couldn't really think of anything else, I mostly spent my time reading or catching up on work. "Oh!" I suddenly remembered, "I love going out in nature." I smiled widely

He raised an eyebrow. "Nature? But there's like... bugs and you can get dirty." (Coworker just like me fr fr) He grimaced as he said that. "How could anyone like nature?"

I chuckled at his response to me saying I liked nature, I did kind of expect that type of reaction from someone like him. He seemed like the type of person who wouldn't risk their perfect clothes or body to get 'ruined' by nature. I chuckled more at the thought of it. "It's not so bad once you're use to it, it's very calming and beautiful." I shrugged.

He shook his head. "Absolutely not." He muttered, crossing his arms across his chest.

I laughed softly, his face relaxed and he smiled softly at me. "You're so silly." I looked up at his face as I said that.

He chuckled and put his hands up in dismissal. "I'm just saying." He chuckled out.

I smiled when he did that, he was being extremely silly, like I said before. I looked away after a moment and looked down at my lap, where my hands were fidgeting.

I didn't know what to say now but the silence was comforting, not like other times. This was all just different. I guess I was just getting used to him now even though it hasn't been much that we've hung out.
