"Shit." Tony says as he hits a force field and Nova chuckles.
"Be careful, dad," she says over the comms.
"Language! JARVIS what's the view from upstairs?" Steve yells.
"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other HYDRA base we've taken." JARVIS explains.
"I'll see what I can do about that force field. JARVIS?" Nova says.
"I'm sending you the schematics now, miss Stark-Williams." JARVIS replies. Almost immediately Nova has the schematics of the force field on her computer and is attempting to get rid of it remotely.
"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last." Thor says.
"At long last it lasting a little long, boys." Nat says.
"Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise." Clint agrees.
"Wait a second. Is no one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said "language?" Tony says and Nova giggles.
"I know" he says sighing. "It just slipped out, and Nova's on comms today." Steve says.
"I live with the man, if I haven't heard worse then shit I think we might have a problem." Nova says, laughing before going back to working on disabling the force field.
"Sir, the city is taking fire." JARVIS tells Tony.
"Well, we know Strucker's not going to worry about civilian casualties. Kid, Send in the Iron Legion." Tony says to Nova.
"On it, dad." Nova says and swivels her chair to a different computer to send out the Iron Legion to the right coordinates.
"We have an enhanced on the field." Steve says and Nova tenses up. Their mission just got a whole lot more dangerous.
"Clint's hit! Will somebody take care of that bunker?" Nova then of course hits a fire wall. She groans and throws her head back against the head rest of her chair.
"Stark, Novi we really need to get inside." Steve says and Nova nods even though they can't see her.
"I'm closing in. Nova?" Tony asks.
"I can't get through remotely but, JARVIS found a particle wave below the north tower." Nova says hoping what little she's done will help.
"Great. I wanna poke it with something." Her father responds. After a few minutes he speaks again, "drawbridge is down, people."
"Clint's hit pretty bad, guys. We're gonna need evac." Nat says and Nova frowns. She knows uncle Clint will be fine but she still worries.
