Buck

Buck couldn't believe his eyes. He looked down at Eddie, shirtless now, pressed against his bare chest. It had to be three in the morning and Eddie had just fallen asleep a few minutes ago. Hopefully, Bobby wouldn't wake them up at the crack of dawn.

It finally happened to him. He debated what Eddie felt. After their first kiss, it turned into making out. Surprisingly, Eddie whipped off his shirt and vigorously tore off Buck's also.  It all happened so fast, but after a long period of  –maybe both of them– dreaming about it, it was only natural from there.

What was he supposed to tell Tommy? What was he supposed to tell Eddie? What was he supposed to tell Maddie? Bobby?

Oh hey, Eddie and I made out last night. He might be gay- probably bisexual. And Tommy dumped me because he was pissed over the tight relationship Ed and I had.

No. He wouldn't mention anything in the morning. They would play it cool and discuss later what happened. Again, he was constantly reminding himself that he had no clue where Eddie stood in all of this.

It reminded Buck of a moment back in Texas when he and Eddie went to fight the wildfires. Buck had met T.K., the captain's son who was openly gay. They would sometimes talk over Instagram, the conversation usually relating to Carlos, T.K.'s husband or Eddie.

When Buck came out, he sent T.K. a lengthy text with a few questions. T.K. was extremely supportive and would FaceTime Buck in a heartbeat. He was glad to keep in touch and told himself he would text him in the morning.

Buck yawned, stroking his fingers against the side of Eddie's head. He adjusted his position and wrapped his arms around Eddie. Eddie fit perfectly between his arms, subconsciously moulding his body to fit like the last piece of a puzzle. He'd only done this with Tommy once. He was inept at it, making awkward movements with sweat gushing out of his armpits from the nerves.

However, Eddie was comfortable. It was like they were exploring a place that wasn't home for either of them. Mistakes weren't the highest fear on his worries list, a safe place. He was overthinking this, wasn't he?
