Hakuryuu and Judal walked side by side together in the palace. Hakuryuu's attention was turned to the kingdom outside the palace, while Judal's was on the boy himself. "What are you thinking about?" Hakuryuu's looked at Judal with a somewhat surprised look, he had thought that this walk would be a quiet one, a stroll without words. But he didn't mind the question, in fact he was happy the magi had asked him. "Just about Kou..." "Ah, ok." Hakuryuu turned his attention back to Kou and then decided to look back at Judal.

"It's rude not to return a question."

"What are you thinking about?" "Hm?" Judal looked at Hakuryuu, her eyes filled with some sort of...Wanting. "Oh nothing special.Just..." Judal paused for a moment as she stared at the wall, Hakuryuu's eyes never leaving her. "...I guess..." Judal looked back at Hakuryuu, the wanting in her eyes seemed to be growing. "I guess I want..." Judal walked over to the railing and stared out at Kou. So many people roamed around on the streets, Judal's eyes switched between each one of them as they walked. "What do you want Judal?"

The magi turned her attention back to the prince. She sighed and ruffled his hair before she looked back at Kou. "...Hakuryuu, would you still be friends with me no matter what?" "Of course." Judal looked back at Hakuryuu and walked up to the boy. "Well then, I'll tell you what I'm thinking about..." Judal started to pace from side to side in the hallway, her eyes on the floor. "What if I told you I wanted power?" "How much power? And for what purpose." "A lot. And to...Well..." Judal looked up at Hakuryuu, a sort of sadness in her eyes. "What if I told you I wanted to take over the world?"

Hakuryuu stared at Judal, his eyes filled with the same kind of sadness as the magi's. Hakuryuu had always known Judal to be a woman in need of power, someone that craved to rule. But he never expected that she would ever go into a blunt conversation about the topic, at least not again. The prince sighed at the question and shrugged, clearly clueless on what to say next. "Well, I already knew you wanted to take over the world so I don't see much of a reason to talk about it now..."

Judal stared at Hakuryuu for a moment more, the prince could see in her eyes that she was at the verge of crying, at least the verge of wanting to. Hakuryuu knew she was stronger than that. He knew that the magi wouldn't just start crying at such a remark. But he knew that he had hurt her, internally, and he may have even hurt her a lot. But even Hakuryuu wasn't the master at reading Judal's emotions, but he was one of the bests.

The prince gave a sad smile to the magi and looked out at Kou. He didn't even need to turn back to know that the magi had left as he heard Judal's footsteps leave the corridor. His mind was wandering, trying to fix onto one idea of how he was to approach Judal at this time. Hakuryuu sighed once more as he stared out at the vast empire of Kou.

"How could someone want even more than just this?"
