DANIELLE POV
The next day*
I woke up to the sound of panicking from downstairs. I got out of bed and walked out of my room to hear the fire alarm beeping. I ran downstairs to find the reason of the alarm being activated and saw minji running towards the kitchen holding a fire extinguisher.
"Everybody remain calm!" Yelled minji as she put out the fire on the stove. "Is everybody alright?" Asked minji while breathing heavily. "Yea we're alright" replied hanni, haerin, hyein and leeseo together
"What were you doing anyways" I asked, looking at the burnt food on the stove. "We were making breakfast and it suddenly caught on fire" replied hanni.
"I'm so happy you're okay baby!" Said haerin as she hugged hanni like a baby. "I don't have time for this shit I'm going back to sleep" I said as I walked back to my room and laid on the bed.
I tried to go back to sleep but minji was on my mind. In my mind, when she was running to the kitchen, it felt like those movies where the middle school girl had a crush on the lifeguard and then they would show a scene of the lifeguard running in slow motion; that's exactly how I saw minji.
I decided to stop trying going back to sleep because I wouldn't be able to get minji off my mind anyways. I walked out of my room and went downstairs and noticed minji was in the kitchen.
"What are you doing?" I asked as I walked into the kitchen. "I'm making breakfast because as soon as you went upstairs, they said they would try to make breakfast again; so I said I was gonna do it instead because I couldn't risk having them cause another fire" explained minji.
"Well I'll be in the living room if you need me" I said as I walked out of the kitchen. "Alright!" Yelled minji from the kitchen.
"Danielle look what I found!" Said hanni before showing me an edit of minji she found on tiktok.
It was captioned 'Danielle marsh's new bodyguard😍' (this is so silly but this was all I could think of😭) and it showed when we were at the mall yesterday.
"OMG HOW DID YOU FIND THIS" i asked as I snatched her phone from her hand to watch it from a better view. "I was just scrolling on TikTok and found it" said hanni as she snatched her phone back.
"Send it to me like right now" I said demandingly "alright just a second" said hanni before sending it to me. She went back to what she was doing.
I kept watching the video in admiration "she's so fucking attractive" I said in a very low voice. "Who is?" Asked minji from behind me, causing me to almost drop my phone. "Oh it's no one" I answered as I turned around to face her. "Well breakfast is ready if you want any" said minji before walking back to the kitchen.
"That was a close one" said hanni as she passed me on her way to the kitchen to eat.
THIRD PERSON POV
Minji stayed in the kitchen to wash the dishes but Danielle walked in the kitchen and noticed what minji was doing so she walked up to her. "It's okay I can wash the dishes, you already made breakfast" said Danielle as she was reaching for the sponge in minji's hand. "But I used the dishes to make breakfast so I should wash them" said minji as she moved the sponge away from Danielle's reach.
"Well atleast let me help you. You wash the dishes and I rinse them" said Danielle. Minji nodded as she gave her the dish that was in her hand. As the rest if the girls went upstairs, Danielle and minji were still washing dishes. Danielle was waiting for minji to give her the next dish. She was confused on why minji didn't give her anything and turned around to look at minji and saw she was harshly scrubbing the pan that had the burnt food from earlier.
"Here let me try" said Danielle before minji handed her the scrubber and the pan. She was scrubbing harder than minji was and the burnt food still stayed. She eventually got it off after getting a scraper from the drawer next to her. "That took a while to get off" said Dani after rinsing the pan. "We're finally done!" Said minji before cracking her neck and let out a sigh of relief.
"I'm gonna rest for a little, see you later!" Said minji before walking out of the kitchen and went to her room.
MINJI POV
"who was she calling attractive?" I said, talking to myself while laying on my bed. I've gotta admit, I was kind of jealous even if whoever she was talking about was a celebrity. Or what if it's someone from her school and I might not have chance with Dani. I know I'm not supposed to date her so that lowers my chances, but that doesn't make it zero.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!" I shouted from my bed. Danielle walked in and sat on my bed. "Can we get to know each other?" asked Danielle as I sat up. "Sure! What do you want to know?" I asked. "I want to know your age, your birthday, your favorite color, and if you've been in any past relationships" replied Danielle quickly.
"Well, im 20 years old, my birthday is may 7, my favorite color is any shade of blue, and no I've never been in any relationships before" i answered to all her questions. "What about you?" i asked. "I'm 18 years old, my birthday is April 11, my favorite color is probably baby blue, and I have been in one past relationship when I was straight" answered Danielle.
She's not straight anymore? I mean there were signs but I thought she was just quirky (idk if that's the right word) so that makes my chances higher.
"What's his name?" I asked. "His name is kang jungwon and we broke up because he cheated on me with A FUCKING MAN" replied Danielle, basically shouting the last part, making me flinch. "Sorry" apologized Danielle as she chuckled.
I suddenly burst out laughing after processing what she had told me "WITH A MAN?!" I said, in between laughs making her hit me on the arm. "It's not that funny!" Shouted danielle playfully. "Fine it's not funny!" I said as I put my hand in the air, as if I was surrendering. There was a pause as me and Danielle were staring at each other holding our laughs.
We both burst out laughing after a few seconds. "Well, that was fun" said Danielle as she got off my bed. "where are you going?" I said as she reached the door. "What? Do you want me to stay?" Asked Dani, forming a smirk on her lips. "N-no you can go" I said, slightly blushing. "I'm gonna go sleep, goodnight" said Danielle. "Goodnight" I replied as she walked out the door.
