Eclipse then looked around and saw all the chit chatter going on around the restaurant. He saw everyone having a good time with each other, smiling, laughing, just enjoying life, like what anthros and humans do. This made Eclipse feel a bit sad as he was starting to miss his human side, as his and Twilight's humanity were taken away from them by Black Doom. They were now cyborgs and he felt sad that he couldn't enjoy life or have as much fun as everyone else because of the fact that he is a cyborg, or so it's said. He still had feelings and emotions, and he was still able to have normal body functions, but something felt off. He felt that he didn't fit in with everyone else cuz of how different he was and because he's a cyborg, he felt like an outlier and outcast to everyone else as well. He felt a bit out of place so to say. He also felt guilty about his villain days and all the pain he caused to others, as it has haunted him for a while as well.

Tangle noticed Eclipse feeling a bit off and was worried about him, she then tried to talk to him and tried to see what was going on exactly as she didn't like seeing her crush and love interest feel down like this.

Tangle: Hey Eclipse?

Eclipse was startled as he was lost in his own thoughts and didn't expect Tangle to say something.

Eclipse: *startled*

Tangle: *worried* You okay?

Eclipse: oh uh, y-yeah I'm fine.

Tangle: You sure?

Eclipse: Yeah I'm sure.

Tangle: it's just, you looked a bit down there, is there anything you want to talk about?

Eclipse: No I said I'm fine. Like really I am.

Resuming point:

Tangle however was not buying into this at all. Despite Eclipse always looking stoic and depressed, he looked like he was even more depressed than he usually is. She was really worrying about him and wanted to get him to open up to her. She knows that he doesn't usually like talking about his past; but she feels that he needs to open up somehow.

Tangle: Eclipse, you don't look fine at all. I saw you were looking around with a sad face. Something's wrong, and I know it.

Eclipse remained silent as he didn't have much to really say. But since they were sitting at a circular booth at the restaurant, Tangle was able to come right next to him. She put her hand on his shoulder with worried look on her face and in her eyes, concerned with his wellbeing.

Tangle: *puts her hand on Eclipse's shoulder with a worried look on her face and eyes* Please, Eclipse. Don't bottle up your feelings and emotions. You need to open up.

Eclipse had a sad look on his face as he felt depressed and broken internally.

Eclipse: *sounding broken* I... I just don't know how to tell you... I feel afraid to do so...

Tangle: *worried* You don't need to be afraid to let out what you're feeling to me. I'll listen to whatever you have to say. Cuz you're my friend and I care about you a lot, and I don't like seeing you like this. So please tell me what you're feeling. Please open up to me. I'll listen

Eclipse was having all kinds of thoughts in his head and he remembered being told that he needed to open up to show that he trusts Tangle, cuz otherwise she may distance herself from him and lose feelings for him as well if she feels that he doesn't trust her. So he had to open up somehow.

But Eclipse felt a bit better now as Tangle's words made him feel more comfortable about opening up to her. He felt more relaxed and he felt ready to tell her what he was feeling.
