This story follows Surge the Tenrec and Kitsunami the Fennec (characters from IDW Sonic Comics). It begins after Starline's death and chronicles Surge and Kit's journey of redemption after infiltrating the Restoration and realizing that their creation's purpose shouldn't dictate their lives. WARNING: Contains Kiturge/Surge x Kit (fanon: Surge is 12, Kit is 8; no sex). If you're not comfortable with this, stop at chapter 22. From there, the story becomes more explicit.
