SFW

-=Glamrock Freddy comes across a young birthday boy who is certainly not having a great time. He takes it upon himself to cheer the boy up in the way he knows best....through song!=-

The bright flashing neon lights of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex strobed like a frantic heartbeat-

Screams of excitement echoed through the cavernous building, mingling with the ever-present chatter of families and the wail of sirens from security drones patrolling the floors. Amidst all this perceived chaos, however, a small figure huddles up in a corner of the dimly lit hallway, tears leaving glistening tracks down their cheeks.

They were a young boy, no older than nine or maybe ten, his bright blue eyes swollen from crying while his brand-new Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex t-shirt was stained with what looked like pizza sauce and fizzyfaz. More noticeably, his birthday hat lay on the floor beside him in a sad squished heap.

It would be quite redundant to say, but this boy has had a terrible birthday so far.

Abruptly though, the lights in the hallway flickered, causing the boy's head to jerk up in confusion. What then followed was the sound of footsteps echoing down the long corridor, growing louder with every step. The boy strains his ears to listen and becomes only further confused when he realizes that the footsteps couldn't possibly belong to his parents or so-called friends. They are much too loud and sound more like metal clanking as opposed to shoes slapping.

Then, as if the universe was listening to the boy's confusion, a figure and therefore the answer emerges from around the corner. The boy's teary eyes gain some light in them as he witnesses Glamrock Freddy himself. The brightly colored bear animatronic continues forward before stopping in front of the boy with a soft comforting smile plastered on his face.

"What's the matter Superstar?" Freddy asks, his calm and soothing voice reaching the crying boy. He then sinks to one knee to be more level with the boy before extending his hand and waiting patiently, wanting to hear what is troubling the child.

The boy sniffles, tears now lessening yet still present- "Guests were m-m-mean," he stammered, a fresh wave of tears threatening to unleash as he relives the moment in his head. "They said my p-p-party sucked, and that they didn't want to do anything with me. "They just...l-left me all alone."

Freddy's expression softens further, his eyebrows also drawing together naturally. "Well Superstar, that's just plain rude of them," he says. "But hey, people will always try and put you down. You just have to show them how much of a rockstar you truly are!"

Then with a flourish, Freddy produces his signature microphone from his chest compartment. "In fact, I just so happen to have a microphone here,  and since it's your birthday and all, maybe you and I could belt out a little tune. Just the two of us. What do you say?"

The boy's eyes widen in surprise and in turn, the light in his eyes grows into full-on excitement. The true superstar of this place, the most popular animatronic to ever exist wanted to sing... with him. It's practically a dream come true and the boy can only nod rapidly in response to the bear's question.

With a wink and another soft smile, Freddy launches into the opening chords of one of the many songs he performs on stage, his voice booming through the mostly empty corridor. The boy slowly stood up from the ground and stared at the animatronic in awe for a moment, then his face broke into a smile. Not a fake or tear-filled smile but a genuine smile of joy. Tentatively at first, he started to sing along with the bear, his voice shaking still but growing stronger with each word.

As their voices intertwined and they continued to sing, something amazing happened. The boy's tears, now completely dried, were replaced by giggles and the occasional bout of laughter. He began to dance in place, waving the microphone all around like a true rockstar would. Now that the boy was in the zone, Freddy took a slight backseat role, cheering him on and playing the air guitar with fervor. His heavy feet clanked on the floor as he added some dance moves of his own to the symphony.

Their spontaneous duet echoes down the hallway, drawing a few curious stares from the occasional passing guests. Some pointed and whispered, contemplating getting a closer look, while most couldn't help but tap their feet in place for a bit before moving on. By the time the bear and the child hit the final chorus, the boy was beaming, his eyes positively sparkling like the lights of Freddy's own optics.

As the last lyrics between them fade away, Freddy stops his imaginary strumming and reaches a hand out to pat the boy's head. "You know, superstar, you've got quite the voice on you. Don't let anyone ever tell you differently. But remember, if anyone tries to put you down again, think back to this moment and know that you ARE a rockstar!"

With a final gentle rub on the boy's head, Freddy turns to go back the way he came, leaving the boy with some parting words. "I've got a stage of my own to get back to, but it's been a blast rocking out with you. Happy birthday, superstar!."

And with that, he strides off down the hallway, leaving the boy to smile widely at his departing back. Though the future ahead would undoubtedly be long and fraught with people trying to put him down, in that moment, the boy knows now that he could face it. For he had found his inner rockstar thanks to an unexpected friend.

As Freddy disappears fully into the crowd, the boy bends down to pick up his crumpled party hat. He does his best to straighten it out and clean it before determinedly jamming it right back onto his head. The bright flashing neon lights of the Pizzaplex seemed a little more vibrant now, and the screams of excitement a little more inviting.

Taking a deep breath, the boy steeled himself for the final time before marching off toward the pulsing heart of the Pizzaplex. For the rest of his time here, he is no longer just some kid having a birthday party, no, he is a rockstar-

And this is his stage!
