The warm glow of rustic lanterns illuminates the quaint cafe that I had found myself in this evening. It stands in a quiet and charming corner of Vale, the hustle and bustle of the busy city fading away into only mirthful laughs and peaceful music. It's undoubtedly a perfect date spot for me and my love Neo.
Gosh, speaking of Neo, even though we've been dating for months already, a single thought in my brain or her name on my tongue is plenty enough to send butterflies swimming through my whole body. She just has this unexplainable pull on me that makes me feel like I'm falling more and more in love with her every day. It's certainly not a bad problem to have by any means, it just has the effect of me turning into putty for her...
Nevertheless, I have all the time in the world to mentally gush over her, now is the time to enjoy myself here in the present-

Glancing over at the tell-tale sound of the door, my eyes brighten at the sight of my multicolored lover standing there in all her beauty.

Said girl's eyes begin to scan around the cafe before inevitably locking onto mine. Time feels like it metaphorically stops as the soft smile I see grace her face sends my heart fluttering around my chest with no relent. Even as she makes her way over to me and sits down across from me, my heart only barely lessens its insistent thumping.
'Hello Leo, seems like you missed me~' She signs, a coy smile on her face accompanying her 'words'
Her 'tone' is not lost on me and serves to make my blush even worse as I realize she no doubt can sense the irregular beating in my chest. Despite this, I can't help but grin a stupid grin, as this cheeky look on Neo makes her ten times cuter somehow.
"How could I not," I manage to get out, my dumb grin evening out into a similar soft smile as I see some pink invade Neo's own cheeks.
'You're too sweet~' She mouths before reaching her hand out towards me, mine quickly moving out to meet hers. We hold hands for what feels like forever as I get lost staring into her pink and brown eyes. Then, with a squeeze from me, that is quickly reciprocated by her, our hands part as she moves to pick up the small menu.
Mentally counting down from three, I see that Neo has now no doubt seen what made this restaurant so appealing to me in the first place.
'Leo Leo!' She signs rapidly, 'Can you please order me the neapolitan deluxe sundae?' She continues with an air of excitement buzzing around her.
