Ronin's POV
Antonnia left the country. Although we managed to talk and part ways in good terms, I was deeply hurting.
"Tasha is 4 weeks pregnant, Ronin. Are you not going to Russia?"
I heard Reika. I knew she cared about me, which is why she kept reminding me about my responsibility to Tasha. I realized I had no choice. I had already lost my chance with Antonnia. I should take responsibility for Tasha and our child.
"I'll go there and might stay for a while," I replied.
Reika nodded, her expression a mix of concern and support. As I packed my bags, my mind raced with thoughts of what lay ahead. It wasn't the future I had envisioned, but it was one I had to face.
In Russia
Third Person's POV
Tasha cried for several nights, unable to imagine how her child would grow up without her partner to serve as father or mother, without Ronin. Despite her heartbreak, she resolved to love her child wholeheartedly, even if they were not a complete family.
Weeks later, Tasha was shocked when Ronin showed up at her door. She moved into Ronin's mansion in Russia, learning that Ronin and Antonnia had broken up and the proposal had never happened. She should have felt happy, but instead, she saw a sad Ronin every day. She was not ready to step into this life, burdened by uncertainty and the lingering ache of lost love.
Determined to rekindle their relationship, Tasha tried her best to cheer Ronin up. She asked about potential names for the baby and eagerly shopped for baby supplies. But despite her efforts, Ronin's energy was never the same.
Tasha realized that while Ronin was physically present, his heart and mind were still with Antonnia. It pained her to see her like this, but she refused to give up. She knew it would take time, patience, and understanding to help him heal and accept their new reality.
Tasha's POV
"Hey Hon, look at these baby supplies I brought. It's so cute and would suit if our baby would be a boy or girl."
I tried to communicate with Ronin. She just nodded with no energy. She also makes herself busy with work and no time for me. I think she hates me for ruining her chance to the woman she loves. But I hoped to build a future with her, even just for the sake of our child.
However, it's really difficult.
When Ronin was in a couch one time, I saw how she scrolls her pictures with Ann. She still misses her.
When I cooked her favorite food, she mentions that she likes what Ann prepared for her.
When I invited her to shop for the baby's needs, she would just let our househelper accompany me.
It seems like she was only here because probably Reika scolded her.
"Hey Hon, which color would you like to paint our baby's room?"
"Hon, Ronin, can you hear me?"
"Honey, please listen to me." I held her hand, but she removes it. I think she was upset.
"Tasha, can you please stop calling me with your endearment. You know I love Antonnia and not you"
I thought it would just be fine but telling right into my face that she loves someone else, but it really hurts.
After that day, I went back to our family mansion. I can't stay with her. Our relationship really did not end well. I even hate myself for craving her presence. I crave for her smell, and I even crave for her to see her dance.
