Third Person's POV

An Italian-American crime syndicate, La Nostra, based in New York City, is discussing:

"Fuck that One-eyed Ronin. She's already secured and protected the laboratory, as well as the scientist-doctor and her family. We can't do anything."

"Also, we can't touch her family, especially her twin sister, as a bargaining chip for the product. Their security has doubled since then."

"I really want that new development they have. It could make us a lot of money."

"Boss, according to our men investigating the situation in Russia, there is a childhood friend of the One-Eyed Ronin."

"She won't care if we kidnap her. She's just a childhood friend."

"Boss, the childhood friend is rumored to be her wife. Our men found out that the One-Eyed Ronin has referred to her as 'my wife' many times. The Chenskaya Bratva also respects the girl."

"Oh, so the One-Eyed Ronin is already married. Fine, kidnap her wife, and we'll use her."

Ronin's POV

"Boss, we observed the mansion of Miss Tasha Daranova, but these days, she wasn't able to go out in their mansion. We didn't see her."

"I think there's something wrong. Please call Ran for me and have him travelled over her immediately."

If I'm right, they might target Tasha to attack me. What would be the reason, does it have connection to the new product? They better not hurt Tasha.

Tasha's POV

I can't wait to see Ronin again. Ever since, I have developed feelings for her. I know she's a lesbian, and that hasn't changed the fact that I love her. I'm actually happy that she's into girls because it means she might see me as more than just a friend.

I also became curious when she invested a lot of money in scientific advancements. I didn't expect she was putting so much effort into achieving Antonnia's dream family. Also, I know her and Ran; they're Ronin's best friends. I think we've only met around 2-3 times due to Russia-Italy transactions when I used to accompany my grandfather.

Actually, I've been jealous of Antonnia because Ronin has always prioritized her. Ronin is quite obvious when she likes someone.

When Ronin kissed me that time in her office, I knew it was just pure lust. There was no emotion in how Ronin kissed me. She was gentle and all, but in her eyes, I couldn't see that she was really into me.

Well, what did I expect? She has been deeply in love with Antonnia, even seeking alternative human production just for her. I know she did it all for Antonnia. It has always been her, even though here I am, willing to give my all for her.

I'm excited to travel with Ronin and see her twin sister. I've always known that she has a sister because she mentioned it before.

However, while I was arranging my things in my room, several men invaded our mansion and kidnapped me. I was really scared because I heard a lot of sexual remarks they were throwing at me. I was only wearing my nighties when they invaded our mansion. Now, I'm in a dark room, feeling scared and hoping someone will save me.

Although it would be impossible for Ronin to save me since I'm just her childhood friend, part of me is still hoping. Ronin only cares for her family and people very close to her. She is also busy, and if she were to help, she would probably just send her men.
