Her whole body froze, she felt him spin her around effortlessly, as if he had done before. She couldn't even make eye contact with him, instead her eyes were fixated on the ground. He lightly lifted her chin, guiding her eyes to his. He had a small smile tugged on his face, his hair was slightly sweats and so was his face. "God he looked gorgeo-" no stop she thought.
"I didn't know you were coming," he said slightly amused. How was he amused and not shitting himself she thought. "Last minute invite from Kika," Guliannas voice was clearly nervous no matter how much she tried to make it not.
The two of them stood there in silence, both looking at each other yet not saying a word. Unfortunately or fortunately she couldn't tell, the silence was broken by one of his engineers calling him over for the second practice. He gave a small smile before leaving, and as did she.
When she got back to the Alpine paddock, Kika was waiting around for her. "God you took long," she slightly complained. Gulianna gave her a sheepish smile, "Sorry, got caught up. How's Pierre?" good quickly change the topic she thought. Although her and Kika were very close, she didn't want her to know about the little encounter; not yet anyways.
The second practice was quickly over, Lando did surprisingly well, getting P2 whilst Pierre remained in P8.
All three of them got to there hotel rooms, Gulianna immediately crashed, not fancing talking to anyone for an hour or two. That was before Kika texted her that there were dinner plans to attend. That ment she would be seeing him twice in one day, oh how the universe works.
