The sun set low, casting an orange hue on the beach. It had been a few months since their argument, yet it felt like nothing had happened at all. It was perfect.
Lando had a month off before heading back for racing, the season was ending and he was in desperate need of a break. Luckily this was it.
They both layed on the beach, the sound of soft waves crashing in the background and the sunlight hit their bodies. The two of them layed in comfortable silence, soaking up each other's presence without having to say a word. Everything slowed down in that moment, it was so peaceful.
The sun set, the orange hue becoming darker yet the pair didn't move. They lay comfortably, her head on his chest. The soft breaths of him putting her to sleep, yet her eyes remained open. Almost as if she was scared to miss this moment.
If one thing was for sure, they both knew in this time it was them forever. Nothing could change that, and nothing ever will.
