Kanon was sitting on some bleachers, watching Leon's after school baseball practice. She was completely zoned out and seemed to be mumbling something very faintly under her breath.
Leon gets a call he mumbled "oh..wait a minute..."  He picks up call while the other players resume practicing with the pitching with the pitching machine.

Leon kuwata:.."heya baby!"

Immediately, as if she was electrocuted, Kanon suddenly snapped upright and her eyes widened."BABY?" He... has a girlfriend? What!? Is this real? No no no no no no NOOOO!!!.She thought, her breathing getting a bit shaky as she listened to the conversation.

Leon kuwata:.."  where are you?..oh!-..yeah?... I'll be right over... after practice ofcourse!"

Kanon just sat there, staring at Leon, who was talking to his girlfriend in a rather cheerful tone. She felt her heart drop to her gut. She looked like she was about to start crying, hearing the love of her life talking to a GIRLFRIEND in a way that he never does with her. However, she decided not to do anything to stop the conversation or disturb them.

Leon kuwata:...okay byyee luv you~..

He shoves his phone in his pocket and continues practicing. Kanon listens to the call quietly, feeling more and more pain and distress. As she heard Leon say "love you" to another girl, she felt as if her heart was stabbed. However, as she saw Leon resuming to practicing, her face flushed red. Despite being upset, she continued staring at him practicing. He seemed to have so much energy and so much fun, yet... why couldn't she be his girlfriend... or his "BABY"?..

After practice Leon walks over to his dorm with his hands in his pockets to probably take a shower and get ready for the date with his 'girl'
Kanon silently followed him to his dorm, staying not too far behind him, as she watched him head to his dorm. He looked like he was in a good mood... and she could guess why. After all, he just talked with his "BABY". She quietly watched him enter his dorm, and after a while she silently sat down next to the dorm, listening quietly in case he says something about his girlfriend...
Leon got ready after about 45 minutes and walked out wearing a stripped shirt, a cropped jacket with some jeans and a baseball cap. He shoved his hands into his pockets again and walked over towards the entrence of the school.

Kanon watched Leon as he exited his dorm, checking him out a bit, before realizing where he was heading. Immediately, she stood up, her eyes widening as she realized that he was leaving the school to probably go see his girlfriend. She had to figure out who this girl is and how she managed to win his heart. She began to silently follow him.
Leon gets a call and talks while heading there

Leon kuwata:.."I'm coming dude. Can you wait for meee~...?.. where is the place?.. oh...okay then..".

.kanon followed him as he crossed the street, being as quiet as she could while secretly stalking him. As he talked on the phone, she tried to listen carefully what he is talking about and to whom, but her heart sunk as she heard that he was going to meet with his 'girlfriend'

Kanon hid in the corner, using the nearby bush as cover to hide herself while she listened to them talking. She was curious to know what the GIRLFRIEND looked like, but right now, listening to their conversation was more important. She hoped that they didn't notice her, while secretly stalking them*

Leon kuwata: "and you didn't forget I love mango ice-cream!.. despite being an asshat you remembered my favourite flavour!".

Kanon continued to listen to them talking. She took note of Leon's comment about his girlfriend remembering his favorite ice cream flavor. So, the girlfriend is someone who knows his favorite ice cream, meaning that they are very close... she felt a pang of jealousy while still continuing to listen. *Kanon's heart skipped a beat as she heard Leon saying "I love you". She knew he was saying it to this GIRLFRIEND sitting opposite from him, but it still hurt. She never thought she would hear him say "I love you" to someone else after all the times he rejected her. However, she tried to remain calm, while still hiding behind the bush, eavesdropping their conversation. The sight of Leon innocently licking his lips and eating the ice cream in an adorable manner made Kanon's face flush a bit.

Kanon saw the 'girl' wiping the ice-cream off Leon's cheek with her hand. She couldn't help but to be curious to see what this 'girl' looked like, and it just made her even more jealous. The sound of Leon giggling at her action made Kanon feel a mix of jealousy and a bit of hurt, seeing him so happy with this 'girl' who isn't HER.

Suddenly she heard a deep voice from Leon's "girlfriend'

Yasuhiro hagakure:.. "you're so damn cute yanno that, Leon."

Kanon, who was listening, was taken by surprise as she heard a deep voice coming from Leon's "girlfriend". She didn't expect it to be a tomboyish-sounding boy. But then... does this mean, that Leon's "girl" is actually a BOY?"WHAT?" Kanon thought to herself, now utterly baffled and confused as she listened. "Why the hell would Leon date a boy!? I thought he was straight..."Kanon was completely in disbelief as she listened to the conversation. ..

.Leon kuwata: oh come on dude! Don't baby me!

Yasuhiro hagakure:.. I love babyin' you...dude

She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Leon was getting babied by this boy who was taller than him and holding his chin up to make him look at his face. She felt a mix of shock and confusion as she tried to process this new information. The jealousy and hurt from before were still there, but now there is also an element of confusion and even curiosity about this unexpected relationship.

Yasuhiro leans over closer and grabs Leon's cheek and squished it lightly "...awh look at that cute ass faceee"
" S-shut up..d-dummy.." Leon tried to reply, but his usual bravado was replaced with a flustered and cuter tone as he was being babied by Yasuhiro. It was like he was a completely different person. Kanon felt her heart sink as she watched this boy babying Leon and finding his flustered expression adorable. She wanted to be the one to make Leon make those cute expressions, but instead, it was this boy who was making Leon make all those cute reactions. She felt a mix of jealousy, hurt, and despair, as the tears began to well up in her eyes as she walked away looking down sadly.

Btw if you are wondering how kanon didn't hear yasuhiro's manly ass voice earlier on. It's because he was chowing down on his icecream. (It was bestowed open him by bigfoot)
