Hello everyone!
The last two weeks have been extremely rough for me. It has come to my attention that some people think that I stole another authors story. I just would like to take some time to clear the air with this.... I did NOT steal anyones story. The author of the other story and this story have the same character names. In my first post, the update, I clearly stated that this story is INSPIRED by the other story. The only thing that is the same are the names of the characters. Everything that you all read is MY writing and no one else's. For everyone that accused me for stealing their story, please, please, please, actually take the time to read this one so then you would know that it isn't true at all and this is in no way shape or form their writing. I truly apologize to everyone that was under the impression that this was a stolen story; I was out of the country on a service trip so I couldn't respond to anyones messages about the situation. If anyone has any questions please reach out because I don't want anyone to think that I stole someone else's hard work because I in so way did.
To the author that thinks I stole their story, (Sorry Ik that sounds mean I just didn't know how else to phrase it:) )
I am so so sorry that it seemed like I stole your work. I look up to you and I think that you are amazing, but I didn't steal your work at all! I know the stories sound somewhat similar but so do 100000 stories out there. The only thing that is the same are the character names and even then, that's three names that are extremely common and I know many other authors use those names too. I wish you would have privately reached out to me about this situation because now it's much bigger than it needs to be when there isn't even a problem. I hope you are well and please reach out to me if there is any more confusion or questions you would like to be cleared up!!!
