With a heavy heart yearning for your presence,
My thoughts revolve entirely around you.
It pains me when your care seems absent,
My day consumed by thoughts of you.
Seeing you, a piece of my heart aches,
Knowing I'm not even a fragment in yours.
I don't blame you for not reciprocating my love,
Everyone admires the moon,
Yet the moon's affection is solely for the sun.
I wish for you to be my sun,
Yet you gleam like the moon in my sky.
