When the dead rise, it's the living that falls. It's only the beginning of the end for many, either lose yourself or fight like hell to live another day.

I am currently writing this alongside the final chapter of The Hitchhiker. As of writing, the fourth chapter was just published (If you haven't had the time to, check out the previous chapters!).
~ Introduction ~
This is the part of the story where I give all of the thanks and loosely reminisce about writing Downfall of the Living, but for now let my mind wander as I never thought I'd be writing a full story.
Downfall of the Living started as a personal project many, many years ago around my time in middle school and high school, making this story about eight or so years in the making. But sitting down one very late night in 2022, I started a Wattpad on a whim like I had made my YouTube channel. Gave a very generic design for the bookcover before drawing a concept of what I wanted, and then making it happen in photoshop.

I will on record say that I believe the structure of this story threw people off. Essentially, I fit three short stories each with five chapters under one title. At first I believed this would've been easier but in the long run I plan on fixing this issue.
But two years of writing and procrastination made me appreciate the process of writing a story. The thought process of writing a plot, characters, the setting. Each chapter was a learning experience for me. I tried to experiment first hand a new style change, or adding one mid way through a story or chapter.
Regardless of how sloppy many and myself find the story, I enjoyed writing about the Downfall as I call it.
