After completing their breakfast, everyone left the dining area. Annika and Shivaay are the last ones to leave. Shivaay decided to stop pretending to be angry with her after going to the hall.

They start moving towards the hall, but midway, Annika's netted shrug got caught on an Asparagus Fern- which is a decorative plant placed near the stair nook.

Shivaay, who noticed Annika is not moving with him, turned around and saw her trying to release her shrug from the plant.

"Who the hell kept such a plant here?" Annika muttered with an irritated tone. He shook his head at her impatience and also the way she is harshly tugging at the delicate fabric as if she is about to tear it apart.

"Stop," Shivaay said firmly, moving towards her.

She lifted her head and looked at him with a confused frown. As he reached her and started to help untangle the shrug from the plant, Annika stopped her attempt and looked at him with a smile.

"Who the hell will deal with it so harshly? You have to untangle it, not tear it, and this plant is prickly to touch, but you? So impatient and rough," Shivaay said with a scolding tone, concentrating on untangling the shrug. Annika chuckled, gaining his attention.

He looked at her side and noticed something on her shoulder blade. It's a thin half-inch long, dark scab, the kind that forms after a minor scratch with dried blood that has healed over time. His hands froze, and he looked at it with a mixture of concern and suspicion. Annika looked confused after noticing his hand freezing like that, she also noticed his concerned look, and followed his gaze to realize what he had seen.

"What is that on your shoulder blade?, " he asked, with a low voice and seriousness

Annika quickly freed her shrug from the plant and covered the area with the shrug. looking at him with a puzzled frown.
