The night air was crisp as Daniel patrolled the outskirts of town. The recent loss of Benny still weighed heavily on his heart, but he knew he had to stay vigilant. Dracula wouldn't stop sending his minions, and Daniel couldn't afford to let his guard down.

As he walked through the dimly lit park, he felt a familiar chill. His senses tingled, alerting him to the presence of vampires nearby. He slowed his pace, his eyes scanning the shadows.

From behind a large oak tree, two figures stepped out, their movements eerily synchronized. Daniel recognized them immediately – the twins. They were infamous for their telepathic communication and seamless teamwork.

"Daniel Dire," the boy twin said, his voice echoing in the silent park.

"Ready to meet your end?" the girl twin continued, her tone filled with menace.

Daniel smirked, his grip tightening around the wooden stakes hidden in his jacket. "Do you really think this amateur shit will work on me?"

The twins exchanged a glance before charging at him simultaneously. Their attacks were swift and coordinated, but Daniel was faster. He dodged their initial strikes, moving with a speed that left them momentarily off balance.

The boy twin lunged at him with a knife, but Daniel caught his wrist mid-air, twisting it until the knife clattered to the ground. He delivered a powerful kick to the boy's chest, sending him flying backward.

The girl twin tried to capitalize on the distraction, aiming a punch at Daniel's head. He ducked and swept her legs out from under her, causing her to fall hard onto the grass.

"Is this really the best Dracula can send?" Daniel taunted, his confidence growing with each successful move.

The twins regrouped quickly, their eyes burning with fury. They attacked again, but this time Daniel was ready. He blocked their blows effortlessly, his strength and speed far surpassing theirs.

With a swift motion, Daniel drew one of his wooden stakes and plunged it into the boy's chest. The boy let out a pained gasp before disintegrating into ash.

The girl twin let out a scream of rage and sorrow, charging at Daniel with renewed ferocity. But Daniel was already in motion. He sidestepped her attack and, with a precise thrust, drove the second stake into her heart. She too turned to dust, her scream echoing in the night.

Daniel dusted off his hands, looking down at the remains of the twins. "Guess they didn't get the memo. I'm not someone to mess with."

As the adrenaline faded, the weight of his actions settled in. Every victory brought him closer to avenging Benny and stopping Dracula, but the losses along the way were heavy.

He took a deep breath and continued his patrol, determined to see this fight through to the end. With each battle, he grew stronger and more resolved. Dracula's reign of terror would end, and Daniel would make sure of it.
