The sun was setting, casting an orange glow over the school grounds. Danny sat on the bleachers, trying to focus on his homework, but his mind kept drifting back to his last fight with the ninja vampire. He'd come so close to winning, and yet, he'd still fallen short.

Benny joined him, a concerned look on his face. "You sure you're ready for this, man?"

Danny nodded, his jaw set with determination. "I have to be. There's another vampire in town. A day walker named Johnny Morton."

"Day walkers are bad news," Benny said, frowning. "They're just as strong as regular vampires, but they can move around during the day. Makes them harder to track."

Danny clenched his fists. "I don't have a choice. If I don't stop him, more people could get hurt."

The fight took place in an abandoned warehouse on the edge of town. Danny had scouted the location earlier, making sure there were no surprises. As the sun dipped below the horizon, he waited in the shadows, his wooden stake ready.

Johnny Morton arrived, moving with the casual confidence of someone who believed himself invincible. His eyes scanned the warehouse, finally landing on Danny. "So, you're the new vampire hunter in town," he said, his voice dripping with disdain.

"And you're the day walker causing all the trouble," Danny replied, stepping into the dim light. "I'm here to stop you."

Johnny laughed, a cold, humorless sound. "You think you can stop me? I've faced hunters before, kid. You're nothing special."

Without another word, Danny charged. He moved with superhuman speed, aiming a punch at Johnny's head. But Johnny was just as fast, dodging the blow and countering with a powerful kick that sent Danny stumbling back.

The fight was brutal and unrelenting. They traded blows, each hit sending shockwaves of pain through Danny's body. Johnny was a skilled fighter, his strength and speed rivaling Danny's. But Danny had something Johnny didn't: a purpose.

The warehouse echoed with the sounds of their battle. Metal clanged as they crashed into old machinery, and the floor shook with the force of their strikes. Danny's stake remained clutched in his hand, waiting for the right moment.

Blood dripped from Danny's wounds, but he pushed through the pain, his focus unwavering. Johnny was a formidable opponent, but he was also cocky, underestimating Danny's resolve.

As the fight dragged on, Danny saw his opening. Johnny lunged at him, fangs bared, but Danny sidestepped at the last second, driving the stake into Johnny's chest with all his strength.

Johnny's eyes widened in shock and pain. He tried to pull the stake out, but it was too late. With a final, gurgling gasp, he crumbled to the ground, his body disintegrating into dust.

Danny collapsed to his knees, breathing heavily. The fight had taken everything he had, but he'd won. He looked at the pile of dust that had once been Johnny Morton and allowed himself a moment of triumph.

Meanwhile, in Dracula's lair, the Sorcerer Vampire knelt before his master, his face barely recognizable from the beating he'd received. Dracula stood over him, his eyes cold and merciless.

"You failed me," Dracula said, his voice a low growl. "You let a mere child best you."

The Sorcerer Vampire trembled, his body broken and weak. "I... I underestimated him, my lord. It won't happen again."

Dracula's lips curled into a cruel smile. "No, it won't. Because if you fail me again, I will do far worse than this."

The Sorcerer Vampire bowed his head, the fear evident in his eyes. "Yes, my lord."

As Dracula turned and left, the Sorcerer Vampire vowed to himself that he would not fail again. Danny Dire had made a powerful enemy, and the next time they met, he would not be so lucky.
