Sage woke up with red puffy eyes. She had cried all night and barely got any sleep. She didn't need it though. After tonight, there would be an eternity of sleep for her.
She hopped out of bed and went to take a shower. After her shower, she picked out what she would wear tonight. She felt that the color black would fit.
Sage walked out into the kitchen picking out something to eat. She didn't care what she ate because after tonight she wouldn't have to worry about her diet.

Sam walked into the kitchen and spotted her.

"Hey," she said to Sam.

Sam looked at her and just nodded. Her heart just dropped inside her chest.

"So tonight's the night huh?" Sage said trying to break the silence. She just wanted to hear his voice.

"Yeah I guess it is. Be ready by eight," he said before leaving.

Sage ran into her room before breaking out into a deep sob.

Sam walked into the dungeon where Dean was locked up in. Tonight was the night he would be cured.

"Sammy, I sense a love quarrel?" Dean said.

"Shut up Dean," Sam replied.

"You know, I feel really bad for her. Poor thing. She tries to do something nice, but she just gets burned in the process," Dean told Sam.

"What are you talking about?" Sam asked Dean.

"Maybe you should talk to your girl. Oh wait, you guys are fighting. Not a good day to fight. You never know when it will be your last," Dean winked at Sam.

"Dean. What the hell are you saying?" Sam looked angry and hurt.

"I'm saying that maybe you should go patch things up with your girl. Try avoiding curing the mark tonight," Dean answered.

Sam ran out of the room to run to Sage's room. When he got there though, he didn't see her.

"Sage?" Sam said.

He was concerned for Sage. He went to look at the library when all of a sudden he was struck by something. Sam fell to the floor unconscious.

"Sorry Sam," Sage said before dragging his body off to another room.

SIX O'CLOCK PM

Sam woke up tied to a chair. His head hurt so bad. His eyes were starting to focus when he realized who was standing in front of him.

"Sage?" Sam asked.

"Hey Sam," she said.

"What the hell?" He yelled.

"I had to Sam," she replied.

"Why? Sage you don't have to do the ritual tonight!" Sam said.

"Yes I do Sam. I have to finish what I started," she replied.

"But you're going to die Sage. You can't die. We will find another way!" He said.

"Sam there is no other way," she started to cry.

"We will find one! You can't leave me!" He replied.

"It's okay. You'll get your brother back. That's what you wanted all along," she said.

"But I don't want to live if I don't have anything to live for," he replied.

"You have your brother," she said.

"But not you," he looked like he was about to cry.

"I'm sorry Sam. I have to go," she was almost in sobs.
