A proud Mila shares Bethany's nursery report with Gavi... will he read it and reply or will it just go unanswered, unread and uncared about? Or maybe something more...

Mila sat down at the kitchen table, she'd just finished getting Bethany ready for nursery and on this occasion there was half an hour free before they had to leave.  Mila had told Bethany she could have some play time or watch some Paw Patrol before they had to leave.

Mila cradled her cup of coffee, she could hear movement upstairs so it was likely that Beth and Viv were sorting themselves and Milo out. A grumpy Milo and a very exhausted looking Viv and Beth soon came down the stairs, by now they all needed to be leaving.

"Here Milo. Have some toast." Mila smiled giving Milo some toast she had made. "Bacon butties are on me, at work." Mila nodded to Beth and Viv, who both gave Mila a loving smile. It had definitely been one of them mornings.

"Enough Milo." Beth sighed as Milo repeatedly kicked the back of her seat on the way to nursery. "What mammy?" He replied back nonchalantly. "You know what son, feet down ok?" Viv replied gently using her hand to push Milo's feet off the seat. Milo let out a huff but quietly looked out the window. Mila observed Milo and Bethany, the two children were in complete opposite moods. She felt quite relieved that it wasn't Bethany in a bad mood, though sorry for her Mums for Milo's mood.

At Colney, Beth parked up. Mila and Viv got the children out of the car and grabbed their nursery bags to take with them. "Ready?" Beth smiled picking up Milo, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. The little boys mood completely changed again, this time he was happy to cuddle his Mammy and get all the love. "Ready Mammy." Milo nodded. "Oma!" Bethany pouted reaching for Viv who instantly lifted her, carrying her towards the nursery.

"You're soft on her ma." Mila gently scoffed at Viv. "She's just a baby." Viv gasps and kisses on the top of Bethany's head. Bethany cuddled more into Viv.

Mila hung up Bethany's bag and coat at the nursery, alongside Beth who was doing the same with Milo's bag and coat. "They both seem pretty keen to go in, this morning." Mila pointed out as the two children ran towards the door of their classroom. "Makes a change, right?" Beth smiles widely. "Damn right, it does." Mila agreed. Both children entered the nursery room, the three Mums watch on proudly.

"Heya, they both look cheery today. I will sign them both in.... Oh and I should mention, Milo and Bethany's nursery reports are now ready to view on Tapestry. If you could read and leave a comment on them that would be great." One of the nursery workers told them, they simply nodded and said their goodbyes, neither children really noticing their absence.

Mila, Beth and Viv made their way to training, there was still another 20 minutes till they had to be on the pitch.  Mila, kept her promise and bought both her Mums a bacon butty to start the day. "Here we go. As promised." Mila states handing both Beth and Viv their bacon butties.  "Thanks MiMi." Beth hugged Mila, gratefully. "Ahh. Best daughter ever." Viv grins. "Only daughter actually... so I should be." Mila rolled her eyes playfully.

Breakfast and free time before training soon came to an end, the three Meadema women joined the rest of their squad for training. Training went well, no different to any other day. Mila was enjoying the start of the summer days. Warmer weather and the sun bringing happiness and smiles to everyone. It almost took Mila back to the days when she lived in Barcelona. A place of so many happy memories... but they always brought her back to her memories with Gavi...Bethany's Dad.

Contact between Mila and Gavi had been minimal, though Mila did try her hardest to keep Gavi in the loop with all Bethany's milestones and development. Gavi would sometimes answer though, he would mostly either emoji react to what Mila had sent or leave it on seen. Mila knew she had tried her best and that was all that mattered. Her main focus was on Bethany, for she depended on Mila's love and care.
