KENZIE
"Are you sure you're okay?" Logan asks for the fourth time now.
We're in the back of a car on the way to the bars. I'm squished between him and my sister. And I am not tipsy enough to forget about my parents acting like children earlier.
We went back to Logan's place after the game so he could change and shower, while Macey and I pregamed. Then we got a ride to meet everyone else at the bars.
"I just need another shot," I reach for his hand, lacing our fingers together, "Or four," I chuckle looking up at him.
"You're on your own once she's drunk," Macey shakes her head beside me.
"I can handle her," Logan leans over and kisses my temple giving my hand a squeeze.
We get dropped off and head inside the bar where Logan's teammates said they were. People immediately high five and congratulate Logan on the win as we make our way into the bar. I should've be surprised, he's always been Mr. Popular.
The three of us make our way to the crowded bar. Logan orders and buys drinks for all three of us.
"Thank you," I lift on my toes kissing his cheek.
His hand slides around my waist as his lips meet my neck, "You're welcome."
"Hey! Keep it PG!" Macey lightly pulls me away from Logan with a laugh.
I turn to face her with a raised brow. Logan's still holding me by the waist but now his hand is on my stomach as I stand with my back towards him.
"This is pay back for all the times I've third wheeled with you and Brandon so sush!"
Macey laughs, "Yeah," she nods, "I deserve that."
We get our drinks and walk downstairs to find the rest of Logan's friends and teammates filling up the whole basement. The boys all start chanting Logan's last name because without his last huge body check they wouldn't have scored and won. I smile to myself but spot the girls in the corner.
"Come here," I take Macey hand in mine. The team is mainly standing in the middle, some of the boys are playing pool and darts but the girls are sitting up a couple booths in the corner.
I pull Macey over to Summer and Ellie, aka the only two girls I know here. There's two girls I don't know and have never seen before. Then there's a few I've seen when I've been out with Logan and Summer before because they're USC girls dating other guys on the team but I can't remember their names at the moment.
"Hi!" I whisper to Ellie who perks up when she hears my voice.
"KJ!" Ellie squeals making Summer also turn away from the conversation she's having. The blonde wraps her arms around me but she's sitting and I'm standing so her head is on my stomach. She's sitting at the end of the booth in a chair.
"Hi," I chuckle at the nickname the dance team has given me. I hug Ellie back the best I can as I smile and wave at Summer.
"This," I pull Macey closer to the table, "Is my sister, Macey."
I look at my twin, she's smiling as I continue introductions, "Mace, this is Summer and Ellie, the co-captains."
"It's nice to finally meet you!" Ellie smiles at my sister.
"Damn, you two really are identical," Summer looks back and forth between my sister and I. "KJ, if you didn't cut your hair I don't think I'd be able to tell you two apart."
I put my arm around Macey's shoulders, "I had to do something to make me the cooler twin."
"Hey!" Macey pushes me off her as I laugh.
