As I rode my bike home from work at the Country Club, all I could think of was being wrapped up in Rafe's arms and having a chill night with the love of my life. Customers were extremely rude today, and I was in no mood for drama.

I made the last left turn and started picking up the pace, pedaling quickly as I approached Tannyhill. I parked my bike by the steps, walking up them and pulled my key out to let myself in. When I walked in, I noticed how quiet it was in the large mansion. The lights were off, except for a faint light in the kitchen.

I turned on a few lights, and Rafe was nowhere to be found.

"Baby love? I'm home!" I called, looking for Rafe.

Rafe has been working a lot of late nights for Cameron Development, so maybe he was out working on the next project. As I was about to head upstairs to get ready for bed, I walked into Rafe's office to set my purse and keys down. I hung my purse on the hook and set my keys on Rafe's desk, when I noticed a white powder on my fingers.

"Huh, that's strange. I don't remember leaving any makeup down here." I said, looking around his desk. I opened one of the drawers and that's when I saw the bag of coke. I grabbed it and headed for the kitchen.

"Barry," I said, putting two and two together. "You've got to be fucking kidding me." I huffed.

I walked into the kitchen and washed my hands, and as I dried them, I heard the lights turn on.

"Angel!" Rafe said, stumbling over to me. I stayed by the sink.

"Rafe." I said, pursing my lips.

"How was work, love?" Rafe slurred lowly. He walked over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist. His eyes were bloodshot red.

I pushed Rafe's arms off of me. I pulled the bag of coke from behind me.

"Rafe," I said harshly. "Why do you have this?"

Rafe chuckled drunkenly. "That's not mine, it's Barry's."

I stepped in front of Rafe. "Rafe, I know it's yours. I can smell it on you."

"You always do this." Rafe muttered.

"Do what?" I question.

"You come home, act like I'm the bad guy, and then accuse me of the worst shit. I am telling you right now that is not mine." Rafe slurred.

I inched closer to him. "Don't fucking lie to me." I hissed.

Rafe glared at me darkly, his height towered over me. "So what if it is mine, huh? Maybe if you didn't stress me out all the time, I wouldn't have to take this!"

I looked at him, the man I love and I no longer recognized him. "Rafe, you're hurting yourself when you take it. I love you so much, and I see the good in you. You know I'd do absolutely anything for you. You are going down a path that I can't follow." I said, my eyes welling up with tears.

"See? There it is! You are judging me. You've always been against me." Rafe said, bringing a glass of whiskey to his lips.

"No I haven't," I replied, shaking my head. I took his hands in my hands. "I've done so much for you, Rafe. I would've done anything for you, but that's long gone now." I said, tears streaming down my face.

"Don't shake your head. You've always been against me, and you still are. You're probably conspiring with that dirty Pogue, JJ," Rafe said lowly. He reached his hand and cupped my cheek. "You're in love with him, aren't you? That's where you were tonight, huh?" Rafe said, more anger in his voice.
