Jungkook's POV:

As the morning sun gently filtered through the curtains, I was roused from my slumber by a soft knock on my chamber door. With a yawn, I rose from my bed and made my way to answer it, wondering who could be seeking my attention so early in the day.

Opening the door, I was greeted by the sight of a palace guard, his posture rigid as he bowed respectfully before me. I returned his gesture with a nod, silently urging him to speak.

"Your Majesty," he began, his voice reverent, "the King of Havenwood, Park Jimin, has arrived at the palace and wishes to visit you."

A smile tugged at the corners of my lips upon hearing the news. Jimin, my dear friend and ally, had finally graced us with his presence. I nodded in acknowledgment, gratitude swelling within me for his timely arrival.

Instructing the guard to summon Taehyung, I dismissed him with a wave of my hand before retreating back into my chamber.

Taehyung's POV:

The early morning light filtered through the windows of my chamber, casting a soft glow on the familiar surroundings. I found myself engaged in a tense conversation with Chaeyoung, my childhood friend, who stood before me with tears welling in her eyes.

Her accusations cut deep, stirring a mix of guilt and frustration within me. I had distanced myself from her, not out of shame, but out of fear of tarnishing her reputation by association with me, a palace guard. But try as I might, I couldn't bring myself to voice the true reason behind my actions.

As Chaeyoung pleaded for answers, her desperation palpable in the air, I struggled to maintain my composure. I knew I owed her an explanation, but the words caught in my throat, suffocated by the weight of my guilt.

Just as the tension between us reached its peak, a sharp knock on the door shattered the moment. With a quick glance at Chaeyoung, I motioned for her to hide behind the curtains, hoping to shield her from the intrusion.

Opening the door, I was greeted by a palace guard, his expression unreadable as he delivered Jungkook's summons. With a curt nod, I dismissed the guard, my mind still reeling from the confrontation with Chaeyoung.

As the door closed behind the guard, I turned to find Chaeyoung watching me, her eyes filled with hurt and betrayal. My heart ached at the sight of her pain, knowing that I was the cause of it.

With a heavy sigh, I watched as she silently slipped out of my chamber, her departure leaving an emptiness in its wake. Guilt gnawed at my insides as I cursed myself for causing her pain, vowing to make things right between us.

But for now, duty called, and I had no choice but to heed Jungkook's summons. Pushing aside my inner turmoil, I gathered my resolve and set out for Jungkook's chamber.

Jungkook's POV:

As I opened the door in response to the knock, I was greeted by Taehyung, his posture respectful as he bowed slightly. Gesturing for him to enter, I watched as he stepped into my chamber, his expression expectant.

Taehyung's inquiry about my summons drew my attention, and I nodded in confirmation as I took a seat on the edge of my bed. His presence brought a sense of familiarity, a reminder of the bond we shared as friends and comrades.

"Yes, Taehyung," I began, meeting his gaze with a sense of seriousness. "Park Jimin, the King of Havenwood and my dear friend, has arrived. I trust you to ensure his comfort during his stay here. You've been his friend for as long as I've known him."

I could see the flicker of recognition in Taehyung's eyes as he processed my words, a silent understanding passing between us. Our shared history with Jimin ran deep, rooted in the bonds of friendship that spanned generations.

"Take the lead in showing him around the palace, and make sure nothing goes amiss," I continued, my tone firm yet reassuring. "I'll join you both soon."

Taehyung nodded in acknowledgment, his expression resolute as he pledged his support. "Of course, Jeonha," he replied. "I'll attend to it right away, unless you need anything else?"

I shook my head, a small smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "No, that will be all for now, Taehyung."

With a final nod of farewell, Taehyung took his leave, leaving me to ponder the significance of his friendship with Jimin. Memories of our shared past flooded my mind, reminding me of the unbreakable bonds that connected us, transcending time and distance.

Taehyung's POV:

As I made my way towards where Jimin awaited, memories of our shared childhood flooded my mind. We had been inseparable since we were young, our friendship forged in the fires of camaraderie and shared experiences.

Arriving at Jimin's chamber, I found him waiting for me, a familiar smirk playing on his lips. His teasing remark brought a smile to my face, a reminder of the easy banter that defined our friendship.

"Smiling at your own thoughts, Kim?" he quipped, his voice laced with amusement. "Don't you know it's considered weird?"

I chuckled at his jest, feeling a sense of warmth wash over me at the sight of him. Opening his arms in invitation, Jimin beckoned me forward for our customary brotherly hug.

Returning his embrace with a side hug, I couldn't help but grin at the familiarity of the gesture. "I was just reminiscing about the times we spent together, and here you are, standing in front of me," I replied, a hint of nostalgia coloring my tone. "Gotta say, you've got great timing, Park."

Jimin's laughter filled the air, a joyful sound that echoed through the chamber. "Of course I do," he quipped, his eyes twinkling with mischief as we shared a moment of camaraderie.

"Having a great time without me, you two?" A familiar voice interrupted their conversation, causing Taehyung and Jimin to turn around simultaneously. There stood Jungkook, adorned in his regal attire, a warm smile gracing his features.

Jimin's smile widened at the sight of his dear friend, and he quickly made his way over to Jungkook, enveloping him in a tight hug. "Jungkook, it's good to see you," he exclaimed, genuine happiness evident in his voice.

Returning the hug with equal enthusiasm, Jungkook nodded in agreement. "Likewise, Jimin. It's been too long," he replied, a sense of warmth and camaraderie flowing between them.

As they caught up on each other's well-being and exchanged stories about their respective kingdoms, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment at the sight of his two closest friends together.

However, their reunion was short-lived as Jungkook soon excused himself, citing his duties in court. With a fond farewell, he departed, leaving Taehyung and Jimin to continue their conversation.

Deciding to make the most of their time together, Taehyung and Jimin set off to explore the palace grounds, eager to spend quality time catching up and reminiscing about old times.
