As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the palace gardens, Hera found herself sitting alone by the edge of the tranquil pond, her thoughts drifting in the gentle breeze. The day had been long and exhausting, filled with endless royal duties and responsibilities. Yet, amidst the chaos of court life, she couldn't shake the feeling of restlessness that gnawed at her soul.

Lost in her thoughts, Hera failed to notice Jimin's approach until he was standing beside her, his presence a calming presence amidst the turmoil of her mind. She looked up, her eyes meeting his, and a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips.

"Hey," Jimin said softly, his voice carrying a hint of warmth and concern. "Mind if I join you?"

Hera shook her head, gesturing for him to take a seat beside her. "Of course not," she replied, her voice tinged with gratitude. "I could use some company right now."

Jimin settled himself beside Hera, his gaze sweeping over the serene beauty of the gardens. For a moment, they sat in comfortable silence, the only sound the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze.

"It's beautiful here," Jimin remarked, breaking the silence with a soft sigh. "I often come here to clear my mind and find some peace."

Hera nodded in agreement, her eyes taking in the peaceful surroundings. "It's like a sanctuary," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "A place where I can escape the chaos of court life and just...be."

They sat together in silence for a while longer, content to simply enjoy each other's company amidst the tranquil beauty of the gardens. And as the last rays of sunlight faded from the sky, Hera felt a sense of calm wash over her, the weight of her worries lifting with each passing moment.

"Thank you for being here, Jimin," she said softly, her voice filled with genuine gratitude. "I don't know what I would do without you."

Jimin smiled, his eyes warm with affection. "Anytime, Hera," he replied, his voice gentle. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

As they sat together in the fading light, Hera felt a sense of peace settle over her, knowing that she had a friend she could always count on, a friend who would stand by her side through thick and thin.

And as the stars began to twinkle overhead, casting their gentle glow over the gardens, Hera and Jimin sat side by side, lost in the quiet beauty of the night, their bond growing stronger with each passing moment.

Despite the tireless efforts of Chaeyoung, Jimin, and Taehyung, Hera and Jungkook found themselves trapped in a web of unresolved emotions and unspoken words. Their hearts remained distant, unable to bridge the gap that separated them, leaving them both adrift in a sea of uncertainty and doubt.

As Hera and Jimin grew closer, finding solace in each other's company, Jungkook's jealousy simmered beneath the surface, a silent storm raging within him. He watched from afar as Hera laughed and smiled with Jimin, his heart heavy with longing and regret.

Unable to bear the sight of Hera growing closer to someone else, Jungkook buried himself in his royal duties, hoping to distract himself from the pain that gnawed at his soul. Yet, no matter how busy he kept himself, he couldn't escape the ache of longing that lingered in his heart.

Three days passed in a blur of restless nights and empty days, each moment weighed down by the burden of unspoken words and unresolved feelings. And as Jungkook found himself consumed by the torment of his own emotions, he knew that he could no longer stand idly by and watch Hera slip away from him.

With a heavy heart and a mind filled with turmoil, Jungkook made his way to Hera's chamber under the cloak of night. His heart pounded in his chest as he knocked on her door, the sound echoing in the silence of the night.

Hera's eyes widened in surprise as she opened the door to find Jungkook standing before her, his expression unreadable in the dim light. Before she could react, he pushed past her, his grip firm as he took her hand and led her outside into the cool night air.

They walked in silence, the tension between them palpable as they made their way to the palace gardens. And as they reached the familiar swing where Jungkook had first confessed his love, Hera's heart clenched with a mixture of fear and uncertainty.

"Why have you brought me here, Jungkook?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion. "What do you want from me?"

Jungkook's gaze softened as he turned to face her, his eyes filled with a mixture of longing and regret. "I couldn't bear to see you growing closer to Jimin," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "I know I have no right to feel this way, but I can't help it. I love you, Hera, and I can't stand the thought of losing you."

Tears welled up in Hera's eyes as she listened to Jungkook's words, her heart aching with the weight of his confession. She had feared this moment would come, yet she was unprepared for the flood of emotions that washed over her.

Hera's voice trembled with emotion as she poured out her heart to Jungkook, the weight of her fears and insecurities pressing down on her like a suffocating blanket.

"Why.... Why are you doing this to me, Jungkook?! WHYYYY!!!" she exclaimed, her voice cracking with the intensity of her emotions. "Just when I'm trying my best to get over you, you end up breaking down my barriers that I had built. Why... why can't you let me be?!"

Jungkook's expression softened with understanding as he reached out to gently grasp Hera's trembling hands. "Then don't get over me," he pleaded, his voice filled with a mixture of desperation and determination. "I know you love me, Hera. I know you do. Don't try to deny the truth. What's stopping you?"

Hera's eyes brimmed with tears as she tried to pull away from Jungkook's touch, the pain of their shared past threatening to overwhelm her. "You won't understand, Jungkook," she whispered, her voice barely above a hoarse whisper. "Leave it... don't do this now. Let go..."

But Jungkook refused to relent, his grip tightening on Hera's hands as he shook his head in defiance. "No! I'm not letting go today," he insisted, his voice unwavering. "I thought it would be better if we part ways, but no. Nothing's been better. Nothing ever will be. Please, Hera... tell me what's bothering you... let me listen to your fears... don't shut me out, please..."

Hera's resolve wavered as she looked into Jungkook's earnest eyes, seeing the depth of his love and concern reflected back at her. "How will I tell you, Jungkook?" she whispered, her voice trembling with uncertainty. "What do I tell you... what I tell you will seem completely absurd to you.... We're not meant to be, Jungkook... fate has written someone else for you..."

Jungkook's heart clenched at Hera's words, the pain of her rejection cutting through him like a knife. But he refused to give up, refusing to let her slip away from him without a fight.

"You're wrong, Hera," he insisted, his voice filled with conviction. "Stop running away from the problems, Hera. Face it. Let's face it together. I'll stand by your side. Let me be your home, please... I'll listen.. I'll listen to everything you say.. just don't do this to us..."

Hera's frustration boiled over as she struggled to articulate the turmoil raging within her. "Don't you get it, Jungkook?!" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with desperation. "Stop being stubborn! We cannot do this! This, us, you, me—it's forbidden. What will the others think?! A king can't fall in love with a commoner. A nobody..."

Jungkook's expression hardened with resolve as he met Hera's gaze, his eyes blazing with determination. "Fuck what others think," he declared, his voice tinged with defiance. "I don't care about them. All I need is you. Together we can face it. At least give us a chance, Hera... what are you so afraid of... Or are you in love with someone else...?"

The weight of Jungkook's words hung heavy in the air, his vulnerability laid bare as he awaited Hera's response. But as he saw her frustration and heard her sigh, he felt a pang of regret wash over him, knowing that his words had only added to her pain.

Hera ran her hands through her hair in frustration, her mind racing with conflicting emotions. She cursed her fate silently, wishing things could be different, wishing she could find the courage to defy the constraints of society and follow her heart.

But as she looked into Jungkook's eyes, she saw the depth of his love and the sincerity of his plea.
