If someone told me a few months before that I would put my high paying job at stake and come down to Tesla a totally different country where people speak a different language ,think differently , dress different , have different food habits , I would tell them they are insane , but now here I am , on a plane which will land in 30 minutes to a country 2500 miles away from my home just to get a glance of " JOY " .
I have just landed and already the problems has begun , now how do I make the driver understand that I want to go to Wall street and not Mall street when they both sound the same in teslian. Now the only option left was to write it down and show it to him. After an hour of travel which felt like a eternity ,I have finally made it to the villa.
Most people in the neighborhood are old as this place is away from the main city and from its hectic lifestyles.
I would describe the surroundings as an area surrounded by trees , clean and pure air and peaceful silence . While selecting the place where I would select stay for 6 months ,I had chosen this place with an hidden agenda. Opposite to my villa is a big home which has a swing at its entrance big enough to accommodate two people .
While I was lost in admiring the beauty of the neighborhood ,I got a call from my sister Lake.
Lake(La) : Are you alive ?
Light (Li) : Don't wish me death
La: I really can't believe u are on the other side of the world ,you are really insane ,and I hope you know that.
Li: Well People becomes crazy sometimes , Anyways take care of everyone at home and don't let them find out that I am not on a business trip.
La: Gotcha, but I will want a bribe 🤣
Li: How old are you to still ask for bribe.
Li : Well ,I am definitely younger than you 😏.
La: Fine I will get you what you asked for 😐.
Li : Fine , I gonna hang up now ,Take Care.
La : Bye Sis , Take Care.
After hanging up the call , I took a small nap as I was tired from the long flight and all the travel.
Its 6 Pm in the evening and I am on the streets , exploring the neighborhood when suddenly starts to rain. Fortunate enough I was having a umbrella with myself as whether in tesla is unpredictable. I spot a old lady trying to shelter herself from the rain under a broken roof.She looked around the age of mid 40's to early 50's carrying a big bag of groceries with her
I run to her and offer to share my umbrella while carrying the groceries bag.
Old lady :Thanks Child .Are you new here , I have never seen you before.
Li : Yes ma'am .I have just moved in here today.
Old lady : You can call me Nancy.
Li : I would rather call you granny.
Old lady: Sure my child. You are not from tesla ? Your teslian sounds different.
Li : Well you did catch me , yes I am not a native. I have come here for a short stay .
Old lady: You can drop me off here.
Li : You live opposite to my home.
I was mesmerized by the swing when I first saw it.
Old Lady : You are talking like my son, even he is attached to this swing,I don't know what he sees in it.
Li : Well granny the swing does give a homely vibe.Anyways aunty
you can drop by my home ,incase you are in need of something granny.I would be more than pleased to help.
Old lady : You are such a well bought up kid , Your parents have raised you well.
Li: Thanks granny, I will take your leave now .
I went back home to arrange my things and to cook dinner amd gradually falling asleep.
