It was already light outside but you and Adam were still deeply asleep when suddenly a small portal opened and the owl of the archangels flew into the room at high speed and screamed "GOOD MORNING" extremely shrilly and loudly, startling you so badly that you almost fell out of bed. Because the owl was going so fast, it crashed into the wall and fell down in front of you. You looked confused and shocked at the owl, but Adam was pissed off
Adam: "Fucking, damn shit! What was that all about?"
You: "You really gave us quite a fright"
The owl straightened up, shook himself briefly and continued
Owl: "oh please forgive me, I'm here to tell you that the archangels will be waiting for you in the big square in front of the government building in an hour to prepare for the announcement ceremony."
Adam: "god damn it"
Adam lay down on his back again and pressed the pillow to his head. The owl turned its head slightly and looked questioningly at Adam.
Owl: "Is everything all right with him? Is he not feeling well? Oh is he upset with me?"
You: "no no, don't worry he's fine he's looking forward to the announcement."
Owl: "well I'm glad to hear that, so I have to go on and wish you a good day."
The owl bowed, turned around and disappeared through a portal.
You: "sigh"
Adam: "Did you just say he's looking forward to the announcement?"
You: "what? you almost hurt the owls feelings."
Adam grabs you by the sides and pulls you close to him
Adam: " For lying you go to hell."
You: "For bad manners, too."
You grab the pillow and hit Adam on the head with it
Adam: "and for hitting me too!"
You: "That would be worth it"
You slap the pillow on his head a few more times until he grabs your wrists, sits up, pushes you backwards onto the bed and looks down at you, your wrists still firmly in his grip
Adam: "so, what are you doing now"
You: "Okay, you win"
Adam let go of your wrists, straightens up and looks down at you with confident. You take your chance and poke him in the middle of his stomach with your finger, making him flinch.
You: "You shouldn't let your guard down."
Adam exhales deeply with a smirk and lies down again
