CHAPTER 14

We exchanged a few words when he was back home , and I could sense a tension between us. He seemed to be wanting to talk to me about something, but I wasn't sure what. As he went to take a shower, I realized that we hadn't spent much time together since our wedding, and I was eager to reconnect with him.

As we sat down to talk, Ekansh revealed that he had a surprise planned for me. He had been acting strange all day, and I was curious to know what it was. He hinted that it had something , and my heart began to race. Was he finally going to take me on a romantic getaway? I couldn't wait to find out.

Meanwhile, Ekansh's thoughts were filled with his love for me. He had noticed my shyness and blushing, and it only made him more attracted to me. He was proud of the way I took care of him, cooking delicious meals and leaving sweet notes for him. He couldn't wait to spend more time with him. I love his expressive behaviour.

"So he is trying to steal my wife" 

" who?"

"That little lover boy....my nephew"

"Are you jeaolus?"

"No i am not"

"Then why are you asking"

"I am possessive"

"Oh really?" 

"Yes i am. What is mine belong to just me"

Somehow i like this. I like this craziness.

"Oh my little baby wife is blushing?" 

I tell you this men is such a tease. His smile is so beautiful just like wow.

"You know its rude to stare" he said

No i am not staring

"Oh really? Then why are your eyes looking at me??" . Oh my . This men is just sooooooo

Like a jerk.

"I am admiring" i think i said this with confidence.

" so my wife is admiring me" my god i just boasted his ego.

"Ok fine lets sleep." I want his conversation to end.

" why my dear wife do you want to see some dreams of me and you." He smirked.

"No why would i dream of you when you are just here in front of me" 

"So does that means that you dream about me when i work?"  

He is so flattered by this thought.

" your sense of humour is just like you ansh"

"You mean : fantastic " he said with pride

"No i mean your sense of humor is just like you. : Ridiculous." I said him and flipped my hair on his face.

"You did not

You did not" he said

"I did not what?"

"How can you make fun of mishti? " he questioned.

"Why exactly you think i cannot make your fun?"

"Because....

He came near me and said in hushed tone 

You cant because i am your husband."

For a moment i fogot to take breathe. For a moment i thought he is so close.

"So what? Is there any rule which says that wife cant joke about her husband. How racist"

" i see you are becoming more and more confident. Once upon a time you were a rabbit and now you are trying to become lioness"  

What was this? 

"Nor am i rabbit not a lioness as well. I am mishti and i am happy being mishti"

"Wrong. You are mishti ekansh. My wife. My pride and my lioness."

             "Hey, wife! You're looking especially beautiful today," Ekansh said, his eyes scanning me from head to toe.

"Uh oh, what do you want?" I replied, raising an eyebrow.

"I just want to admire my property," he said, his chest puffing out with pride.

"Property? You mean like a house or a car?" I asked, playing dumb.

"No, I mean my beautiful wife. You're mine, Mishti. All mine," he said, his eyes gleaming with possessiveness.

I rolled my eyes. "You're such a caveman, Ansh."

"Hey, I'm just showing my love and appreciation for my wife. And also my jealousy. I don't want anyone else to have you," he said, his face scrunched up in a mock-scowl.

I laughed. "You're ridiculous, you know that?"

"That's why you love me," he replied, his grin returning.

I shook my head, chuckling. "I love you, but you're also a little bit crazy."

"That's what makes life interesting, my love," he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

As we bantered back and forth, I realized that our love was still in its honeymoon phase, full of laughter and silliness. And I couldn't wait to see what other ridiculous things Ekansh would say and do.
