It was a raw winter morning, when Y/n decided to take a week off for herself, and went on to go around Seoul for a bit.Well, week off from anything emotionally complicated, she should say.
Jihyo had spent the New Years with her, and true to her word, they never spoke about it again. Y/n sometimes wants to, just to make sure, but every time she tries to touch up on the subject, Jihyo shuts her down, and takes the lead on the conversation.
They remain to be the closest of friends, and while sometimes Y/n had passing memories about it, she knows better than to act up on it.
Physically though, there's been a shift. Like, when Jihyo showers, or changes, she doesn't really shy away from Y/n anymore. The same thing goes for her too. They've been affectionate with their fingers on each other's skin. A few touches on the cheek, a far too tender hug. Maybe even a lingering kiss or two on the cheek.
Jihyo had to leave, just as soon as January starts. Being the leader of their group, she had to be on top of everything. And while lately, Y/n doesn't do well on her own, she didn't try and stop Jihyo from doing what she needed to do. They could see each other again, when the time permits them too.
Now, she's walking around the litany of coffee shops and restaurants around. As far as places go, there's always something to be said about how Korean establishments present themselves, always in this quaint, dainty way.
Y/n feels like she could use a bit of quaint and dainty in her life right now. It's the second week of January, and Y/n knows what the following week brings.
She shakes her head, walks a few more blocks.
She spots this restaurant that looks and smells so promising, even from the outside. Peeking through the window though, she was disappointed to see that the place was full, and from the looks of it, no one is at a point of finishing their meals soon.
She shakes her head, goes to walk a few more, before her phone rings, stopping her.
She puts it next to her ear quickly, figuring that it was just probably Charlie or Jihyo.
"Stop! Don't go anywhere!"
The sudden loudness through the speaker phone surprises her as she pulls it back a bit to check the caller ID.
Eyes wide, cheeks flushed.
"Lisa? What - why are you calling?" Y/n says, voice dripping with disbelief.
"Hey, she remembers!" Lisa chuckles over the phone. "I saw you from the window, Come inside!"
Y/n swallows, "Uhh, I don't know love, I don't want to impose." She says apprehensively.
"You're not , don't worry." Lisa reassures her "-and before you say no, it's just me today so will you please join me? I look like a fucking loser!"
Y/n laughs hesitantly, still in a state of disbelief. She looks through the window again, and she sees Lisa all the way from the back corner of the room, waving her hand over her head.
Y/n chuckles again, shakes her head, and decides to just fuck it, and enters.
"You've been very bad, Y/n." Lisa tells her, grinning, just as soon as she sits down.
Y/n chuckles, grabbing a menu. "Have i?" She asks without looking at Lisa.
She sees Lisa nod at her from her peripheral.
"Jisoo's mad?" Y/n asks, lifting her face to finally look at Lisa.
"Big mad." She grins " but she's always been too protective of us, so never mind that. How are you though?"
