In their new home, Sunoo and Sunghoon found solace in the rhythm of everyday life. The cottage became their sanctuary, a place where they could freely love and dream without the weight of expectations of people.

Sunoo found joy in his work at the bookstore, surrounded by many books that sparked his imagination. He loved how easy it was to help customers find books they would enjoy and to have fun talking about stories and books.

Sunghoon's art flourished in the peaceful surroundings. The landscapes inspired vibrant paintings that captured the essence of their newfound freedom. His studio, a small room filled with sunlight and the scent of paint, became a place where he put his emotions onto canvas.

Together, they explored their new home and its surroundings. They discovered hidden coves and winding trails that led to breathtaking views of the ocean. Each adventure deepened their connection to the land and to each other, making memories that would last a lifetime. Yet, amidst the peace and beauty of their new life, challenges persisted. Sunoo occasionally received messages from his mother, filled with concern and pleading for him to return. She wrote about how sad the family felt and how much they missed him, her words is a sad reminder of the gap that was still there between them.

Sunoo struggled of feeling bad and not being sure, torn between the love he felt for his family and the freedom he had fought so hard to achieve with Sunghoon by his side. He shared it with Sunghoon during a quiet evening, their conversations filled with reflection and shared hopes. "I miss them," Sunoo admitted softly, gazing out at the sunset painting the sky in hues of blue and pink.
Sunghoon took his hand, his touch grounding and reassuring. "I know," he murmured. "But we have to focus on what we've gained, not what we've left behind." Sunoo nodded, his heart heavy yet resolute. They had chosen this path together, and he knew deep down that it was the right one for their happiness and their love.

As weeks turned into months, Sunoo and Sunghoon settled into a routine that brought them joy. They hosted small gatherings with newfound friends from the town, sharing meals and stories late into the night. Their circle of support grew, enveloping them in a sense of community they had longed for.

One morning, Sunoo woke early to find Sunghoon standing at the window, gazing out at the ocean. The first rays of sunlight painted, casting a warm glow on his face.
"What are you thinking about, my love?" Sunoo asked softly, wrapping his arms around Sunghoon from behind.
Sunghoon turned to him with a smile, his eyes reflecting a mixture of contentment and wonder. "I'm thinking about how far we've come," he replied. "And how grateful I am to wake up next to you every day." Sunoo held him closer, their hearts beating in sync with the rhythm of the waves crashing against the shore. In that moment, surrounded by the beauty of their new life and the love that bound them together, Sunoo knew that they had found their place in the world a place where they could be true to themselves and to each other.
