The next day, Nyx woke up and got ready to head over to Eden Hall. She walked down the stairs and Joe was already ready and having breakfast. Nyx walked over and plante a kiss on Joe's head and sat down next to him. "Are you ready to go?" Nyx teases, poking Joe. He just rolled his eyes and nodded.

Having only three years apart, they were close. Joe had friends but none that he would consider best friends. He had one but he sadly passed away due to having a sickness. Afterwards, he got attached to Nyx. She never mind, she loves her brother and being around her makes him happy then she's fine with it. Corinne doesn't mind him either, she considers him as a little brother as well.

Nyx's mom walks in, bringing a plate and putting it in front of her. "I thought that I heard your voice." She said softly, kissing her head before walking back into the kitchen. "Alright eat up and we head out" Nyx told Joe and started eating.

After finishing and washing their dishes. Nyx and Joe walked to Eden Hall. "You don't think that it's geeky for me to wear their jersey." Joe asked, looking down. Ben once told him to a game when they were in the Junior League. He managed to convince Ben to buy him a jersey of one of the players."Not at all and if they tell you anything then, they will have to answer to me" Nyx comforted Joe, wrapping an arm over his shoulder.

They arrived at Eden Hall, Mr.Buckley stopped him and brought them near the podium. "After they get their scholarship, I will bring them over here" He told them before walking up to the team and their coach. "Look it's Gordon Bombay," Joe whispered, pointing at the other adult. Nyx felt Joe jump in his place.

"Please welcome to the podium...the head coach and leader of the Mighty Ducks,
Gordon Bombay." Mr. Buckley spoke into the mic before turning to look at the other man. Gordon Bombay walks up, waving at the crowd.

"Thank you. It's a great honor to be here today... to introduce you to a truly great group of kids. Sure, they can be a little rambunctious. They've run me ragged and played more than their fair share of pranks. I still haven't forgotten about those eggs. But I hung in there, and they hung in there for me. We became the Quack Attack, the Flying "V''and the Bash Brothers. I've never had a better time. These kids are winners, each and every one of them. But more than that, these are good people. I hope that they enrich and enliven your school and your lives the way they have mine. Now I hand you over to the capable hands... of my old biology teacher and the current headmaster... of Eden Hall, Dean Buckley." Gordon Bombay turns the mic back over to Mr.Buckley

"Wow, he's so cool," Joe said, looking at Nyx. Who just smiles at her brother's excitement. "Gordon Bombay has a lot to be proud of. We are happy to welcome the Ducks... to our great educational institution. So, today it gives me great pleasure to award you...
these full athletic scholarships to the Eden Hall Academy... where we hope the Ducks will be happy Warriors and lead us on to glory... and divisional championships." Mr.Buckley hands out the scholarships to everyone before turning to take a picture.

Once everyone had their picture, Nyx saw Mr.Buckley leading the ducks over to where Nyx and Joe were standing. Joe grabbed her hand out of excitement. "Ducks, I would like to meet one of your fellow students, Nyx Diaz. She's also a freshman with you all and her brother, Joe," Mr.Buckley left them with Nyx and Joe.

"Mr.Buckley, ask me to be like your welcome committing to Eden Hall. So welcome, I hope that you don't let the looks of it make you feel like it's all serious. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.Like Dean Buckley said, my name is Nyx" she gave her best welcoming smile. "Like the goddess of night and dream" a blond girl spoke.

Nyx looked at her and nodded. "Yeah my mom had always loved the name.Anyways, this is my brother and he also wanted to welcome you. He's not coming to this school just yet but he's a huge fan of you all" Nyx brought Joe to stand in front of her. "Hey he had Banksie jersey." a boy that has Goldberg written in his jersey said, pointing at Joe.

The Banks boy walks up to Joe and smiles. "Hey we have matching jerseys" beaming at Joe. "Yeah, I'm a huge fan of you all, I saw you guys play against Iceland in the final game. You guys were awesome. My dad took me and that is where I got the jersey. " Joe ranted,smiling and looking at the team. The two girls were clearly taken by Joe. "That is so sweet of you." The dark-haired girl gushed.

Joe just blush and looked down. Nyx cleared her throat and said"Anyways, if you all would like I can give you guys a small tour next week when school starts. The school isn't open yet so I can't show you around right now." They all nod and smile. "We would deeply appreciate that," said a dark haired boy winking at her, making Nyx blush before guiding Joe to start walking away. "Quit flirting with every female you see, Mendoza." she heard one of the teammates say, pushing Mendoza.

"Wow, Luis Mendoza flirted with you" Joe said excitedly, pulling on her arm. "It's not a big deal. He's clearly just a flirt. There's guys like that. " Nyx waves him off. She was taken by him but hearing his teammates say that he does that often doesn't leave Nyx feeling all that special. "Can I tell mom and Ben?" Joe ask but Nyx quickly say "No"
