The Hockey Player

Once Nyx was finished, everyone loved it. She looked and saw Joe standing next to Corinne, cheering. She smiled and started to make her way. The crew from the drama started to take down the stage and take it out.

The second that Nyx was out of the ice. Joe jumped on her. "That was awesome. Way more better than those snobby cheerleaders." Joe exclaimed. "Thanks Joe '' Nyx awed, hugging her brother. "Come on, let's get out of the way. JV will be coming soon." Corinne ushers them to get out the way.

Nyx nodded. "Let me get changed and I will come to find you" Corinne and Joe nod and walk to their seats. Nyx started to walk to the room. She bumped into the ducks. "Hey, we managed to sneak to see you. You were great" Luis said, smiling at Nyx. "Thanks. Now it's your turn to do your thing," Nyx replied, pointing to the ice.

"Are you leaving?" Julie asks. "No, I'm just changing. These clothes are great when you're standing but not when you're sitting and cheering" Nyx answered, looking down at her clothes. "Well we will see you out there" Fulton said, before they started to walk towards the rink.

Nyx changed quickly before heading out to find Corinne and her brother. Once she managed to find them. They were sitting where they could hear the announcer tell the game. She sat down, the game was barely starting.

"Point of fact, Charlie Conway is not wearing the traditional captain 'C'. He's been this team's captain since they played in District Five.I guess Coach Orion's making a statement." The three could hear the freshman said.

The puck was dropped and the game officially started. Joe immediately eyes were on the game. Charlie right away scored. Joe jumped up cheering. The two girls cheered as well but Joe was clearly more excited.

More time later, Russ did his knuckle puck, knocking the other team goalie down leaving Guy to put it in. Joe cheered even louder than anyone around them. Corinne and Nyx just laugh at how Joe was getting into the game.

Much later, the bears tried to pass the puck to one another but Luis quickly got a hold of the puck and sped towards the other side of the ice. He managed to pull it in but couldn't stopped that he had to jumped over the net and crashing against the plastic separating the players and the crowd.

Then Dwayne was showboating with the puck, confusing the other team completely. It gave him a chance to score with the goalie.

"Conway passes to Averman who hits the zone and– Oh! That's a hook if I've ever seen one. He gets the pass off Fulton." Fulton managed to spin the player who tried to stop the puck, with his pass.

Averman was pushing the puck side to side faster that no one was able to keep up but it turned out that Fulton had it and scored. Charlie was the next one to score. "Unbelievable! Conway gets the hat trick from somewhere out in the ozone! At the end of two, it's Eden Hall nine, Blake zero."

Sadly the third period. The Bears made a comeback, making it a tie with the JV. Nyx, Joe and Corinne waited for most of the stands to clear out before walking out. "Man that was busted" Corinne said going down to the stands. "Tell me about it," Joe agreed.

The three saw Kenny, Julie and Russ walking inside of the rink with a tank. "What are you up to?" Corinne asked, looking at the tank. Russ smirked "Varsity wanted to pull a prank by putting our clothes into our showers and completely wetting it. So now, we're getting rev-" "You know what. The less we know. The better. Good luck with what you're up to. We never saw you" Nyx stopped, covering Joe's ears, walking away. Corinne gave them a thumbs up before following Nyx and Joe.

Monday came around and Nyx was expecting to see the school on fire due to Varsity and JV freud but the school was still intact. The school went on like normal. During lunch, Nyx walked to her locker wanting to put some books that were weighing heavy on her bag, Corinne was there.

"Hey, how was the weekend?" Corinne asks, looking at Nyx. "Pretty normal. I went over my lines and music sheet, and hung out with Joe. He wanted to go to the lake near our house before the cold came and freeze it." Nyx answered. "What about you?" Corinne shrugs. "Stayed at home and clean my room up and I rearranged it"

Luis walked up to the girls, "Nyx, Corinne." He greeted them. Corinne looked at Luis, giving Nyx a look. "Mendoza" before walking away.

Nyx glared at Corinne's back for leaving her alone with Luis. "Tough break on the tie" Nyx turned back to Luis. "I'm sorry for disappointing Joe," Luis replied. "He was but he's still a fan. He kept saying that you will get them back next game" Nyx shrugged. "I will make sure to let the others know that our little fan is still our fan" Luis smiled but this was way different than the ones Nyx has seen. It was more real.

"I came over to talk to you about something" Luis brought up, stopping leaning on the locker next to Nyx's "Okay?" Nyx said, confused. "I see my actions flirting with you then doing it with Mindy made me look like a douche" Luis started, not making eye-contact with Nyx. "Go on?" Nyx encourages, crossing her arms. "I just want to say that if I would like to prove you wrong." Luis stated. "How do you plan to do that?" Nyx questioned.

"I...haven't thought that far. I was thinking that you would turn me down completely. "Luis confessed, smiling sheepishly. "Well think about it and get back to me" Nyx offered, walking away to find Corinne.
