The very same day, Jovana returned from her break in Athens to New York for business. She had just freshened up and got a call saying that the CEO of the Indian franchise of JMML was killed and people were protesting against the company in New Delhi, with many fake news stories like the company being bankrupt and that it was a publicity stunt. She had to take the first flight down to Delhi. There, she was arrested by the police on the airport itself when the female cop was cuffing her. She refused to be cuffed and wanted to walk herself, and while leaving, she said to Jade, Find me every tiny detail; don't ignore a thing. Jade said I would get the lawyers first, and Jovana looked at Jaden and made eye contact, indicating she should help her with everything.
Jovana has a lot of self-esteem, is self-made, self-learned, and is independent. She has outstanding patience with everything, as long as it does not hit her weak spot, her mother. She had the aura of power around when she needed it to be, and she couldn't make her family look weak.
Jovana could not have been kept in custody for more than 6 hours without a warrant. Her lawyers got her out. She was about to leave, but for not very promising evidence, they got a warrant to keep her for 2 days. Then she said I needed to take a bath and insisted on the same for hours with no tolerance for the investigation, and they finally allowed her to take one in the locker room, where she finally relaxed for a bit but was being observed by a female agent at all times. This was uncomfortable but tolerable, so she took a bath and quickly was out, like in 10 minutes. For someone who bathed for 60 at minimum, she took her bath in 10.
Later she was questioned about some shit, which was annoying her, and they were all pretty shocked at how she managed to sit on an unbalanced chair for so long, so the CBI had only unbalanced chairs for suspects and criminals, you know, tricks. Her grandfather soon interfered, and the best lawyer in the country got her out within minutes. She was out and free, not because of lawyers but because of her grandpa. She agreed to cooperate, but only at her place while the lawyers were around, and she had no tolerance for the way they treated her. This was not going to end anytime soon, but right now it was put on hold.
