The goddess festival was annual, but due to the deaths in the Rajput family, the rules of Rajputana did not permit the celebration of this festival. The Rajput's have not worked with the goddess for 14 years now. The rule said, "The year when there is an unnatural death in the family, the family is not supposed to celebrate the festival; if it occurs after the festival, the next year the festival won't be celebrated." In those years, every year there has been a death, maybe not of close family, but rules are rules.

Everyone from across the world and from deep into their lives came back to the family for the festival. Jovana was not the surprise they were expecting; a few dismissed it while others enjoyed it. They were getting to know her more. They were going to travel to the temple in cars and stay at the ashram there. Jovana was invited by Ayaan to join the cars of all the cousins, and she agreed. The car had Riyaan, Ayaan, and Abira (Ayaan's little sister), and Jovana and Jaden managed to get in the car and drive for them, and Jade accompanied them too.

He was possessive about his job and did not miss Jovana; he adored her as a young sister, unlike Jade, who was older to him. They all talked throughout the drive, but Jovana kept working, and Abira asked her, What is so much more important than spending time with your family after so many years? She very politely looked up and said I am spending time with my family, but some people need money for their quality time with family, so I am just sanctioning that for them. Huh? Abira asked, and she continued to say, You are a model, right? Jovana laughed and said no, not really; I am more into designing than ramp walking. Abira still looked confused, so Ayaan cut them and said that business is not all about the skin. Show Abira there are a lot of professions in there. Abira was a little bit shocked because she thought—or rather was told—that Jovana was into modeling.
