After the yagya, she was left alone on her own will in her room. She removed her jewelry, kept them back inside the locker, and sat on the sofa until around 7 p.m., when they got up to get ready for the ball that had started. She wore a turquoise-colored gown and elegant platinum jewelry given by Sofia.
She entered the grand hall, and all eyes were on her. No one announced her coming, but her presence made people look at her again and again. Ayaan took her by the hand and pointed towards the dais. Her maternal grandparents crowned her with a crown made of diamonds and rhodium. Later, her maternal grandfather took her for the dance. Jovana danced with Abhi and Ayaan. Her father did not make efforts to ask her for a dance. She was later asked by Rayan Malhotra for a dance; he was just looking at her the whole time and said, Why are you not happy about your coronation, Jovana? She said I am just missing some people that I desperately await, but some will never come. She excused herself and left the party. Rayan saw her alone in the dark; he wanted to console her but did not, or rather could not. After all, what was he to her?
The next morning, her grandfather at the breakfast table said, Dress like a princess now, Jovana. I want the world to know that you are a princess. Sure, grandpa, she said, but not in my office; it is a professional platform, and personal life has to be kept away from it. She left for the office, life came back to track again, and she was doing her work and new trips and ventures.
