Chapter twenty-five

I was being very careful walking on my leg and at points I had to use farhan as support because it was hurting. We shopped so much that our arms were filled with bags. Then we decided to eat. I looked around and saw a takeaway, "let's grab chicken and rice." We sat down and ate and I got a call, "hello?" There was a deathly silence on the other end of the phone so I asked again, "hello? Anyone there?" Then I heard someone breathing heavily and I hung up.

"Who was that." I looked over to farhan eating his food, "no one. Let's just eat and get home, I'm so tired." He agreed and after we ate that's exactly what we did. We went to the car park and found the car but before we got in the car Farhan got a call. "Shit okay we're coming." Without saying a word to me he helped me into the car and drove straight home. When we got back to his house zaid came to the car and picked me up to take me inside.

Zac was pacing and Riz was sitting down. "Sit down." Zaid sat me down next to Riz and then stood up next to me. Rizwan took my hand and he seemed nervous. "Hey, what's wrong." I said taking his face in my hand. "Somethings going on, One of our people on Alex's side said that Alex's father have planned for something to happen to you tonight, we need you here with me or one of the boys okay."

I nodded and leaned on Riz, "as long as I'm here with you, I'll be fine." I looked over at Zac and farhan and he looked at us and smiled then I looked at Zaid who was staring at the boys disgusted. Without realising we all dozed off. When I woke up everyone was still asleep, I felt really dizzy and started to cough which woke everyone else up. Zaid was asleep on the wall... Rizwan had fallen asleep on me and farhan and zac were asleep on the sofas to the left of us.

Zaid went to the kitchen and got me some water, then we checked the time and it had been around two hours we slept. I placed my head in Riz's lap and he leaned back placing his head against the sofa. Twenty minutes later their was a knock on the door.

"Okay, just be ready for anything." Zac said before he opened the door. It was rafee, "oh." Zac said confused. Riz stood up and him and raf started discussing stuff, which I couldn't hear because I was too focused on Zaid, he seemed annoyed. "Hey Zara, long time no see." He said shaking my hand, they were so formal, I wasn't used to it.

"Yeah how have you been, did everything work out with you and Anaya?" As soon as I said anaya his straight face turned all mopey, "yeah ever since I proposed everything has been amazing." My jaw dropped, "you proposed?!" Wow so all from us meeting besides me and Riz, everyone is getting or got married.

Rizwan sat next to me and he looked at me, "what are you looking at me for, it's your fault for not accepting my proposal quick enough, now our weddings going to be the last out of all my friends." I folded so hard, "you should've proposed quicker plus it's fine you always save the best for last, baby." Just as he finished that sentence someone else walked in the door.

Alex's father, "awh isn't this cute, the happy couple finally getting married, well it's a bit too late for that isn't it zara?" Rizwan stood up standing inches away from his face, "Hayden, why the fuck are you in my house." I could see Rizwan's fist struggling and shaking." He looked around the room watching us all.

"Well son you did try to kill my son so I had to find something on you otherwise I would've been a bad father and i am nothing if not a good father for my kids." Just as he finished his sentence the police walked in.

"Rizwan khan, your under arrest for attempted murder on Zara Iqbal." Riz turned around and let them cuff him, "What are you doing?! Get off of him!" I got up on my leg and ran over in pain and pushed one of the officers off Rizwan. The other one pulled out his gun on me and I stood next to him, "if you fucking take him, you take me." As I spoke Hayden walked past me and out the door to his limo completely ignoring the fact my husband was getting arrested.

Riz looked at me with a calm face, "baby it's fine, relax I'll be back." Without realising he was behind me Zaid grabbed me and was stopping me from going after him, "I love you, Zara." He said with a dead face. "Fucking let go of me Zaid, we need to go after him. Why are you letting him leave?!"

I watched as they put him in the car and How Hayden's driver drove right next to the police car as Riz was getting was put in and once he was secured in handcuffs sitting in the car Hayden's driver drove off like a maniac down the street.

Once the Feds had driven off with Riz, Zaid let me go and I ran out to see the cop car driving in a distance. "Get inside Zara." He said standing at the door. I walked in and looked at the boys. Rafee had his head hung along with Farhan. Zac was on his phone talking to Rizwans father and Zaid was looking at me. I walked over to him and punched him right in the stomach, "augh."

I was so angry I felt like I could hurt someone, "you dick, why didn't you stop them. Why didn't you let them take him. Now he's fucking gone. Again." I felt a random wave of sadness and tears came into my eyes, "if I didn't let them take him, Hayden would've done a lot worse. We don't even know how he framed your attempted murder on boss if it was jamal."

I looked at him in annoyance, "we don't know that." Zaid shook it off and walked out the house with Rafee and Farhan. So it was just me and Zac, until he fell asleep, again. Zaid never said where he was going so I decided to take a walk in the garden. As I was walking along the path a random fog started spreading on the ground.

I looked around and it was coming from outside the fence, I walked over to the door and pulled open the door but before I could see anyone my sight went fuzzy and slowly going in and out till I was out cold...
