Chapter 5 - Uzumaki Kei

CHAPTER FIVE – UZUMAKI KEI

One month has passed since the rumor of a redhead ghost haunting the ruined Uzushio spread. The said ghost has been going around causing all kind of troubles and headaches to the shinobi he met.

The rumor has thrown the Elemental Nations into chaos since the arrival of the redhead.

It was obvious that he is an Uzumaki.

Not just because of his blazing red hair, because of the Uzushio symbol he wore on his clothes. He even dared to broke into a few Hidden Villages like Kumogakure to steal fuuinjutsu scrolls and books that belonged rightfully to the Uzumaki clan.

The man managed to survive a battle after being confronted by the Raikage, A and the Guardian of Kumogakure.

The Raikage was pissed but his brother was not.

In fact, Killer B was easy-going and being very amiable to the man who came and blown up the Raikage’s office. He defended the redhead when his brother wanted to lock the man in the prison for his actions. Even went as far as to escort the redhead and give him a warm goodbye, rapping things like how the Uzumaki should come to Kumogakure next time.

Not minding at all how the Raikage was threatening the same Uzumaki to not come. Or else he would lock him and kill him for real.

Of course, that story quickly became famous as many civilians and shinobi witnessed that scene. But there were also many people that naturally doubted the credibility of the story because of the exaggeration of it.

There was also another rumor surrounding Sunagakure that the Uzumaki saved the Kazekage’s youngest son, the Ichibi Jinchuuriki who has been a bloodthirsty kid, killing everyone on the order of his ‘mother’.

The Kazekage was so grateful to the redhead that he offered the Uzumaki who fixed the seal a sizeable amount of money and the citizenship to live in his village. But the Uzumaki rejected the latter.

The Kazekage’s son was so attached to the Uzumaki that they were having a hard time separating the two.

Many citizens and shinobi of Sunagakure who witnessed the heartwarming scene were in awe.

The funny thing was the Uzumaki was not even a shinobi.

He was simply a civilian who had the blood of the Uzumaki, was exceptionally good at fuuinjutsu and had a few skills.

(Of course, they wouldn’t know he had many ancient powers of all attributes that could easily be mistaken as kekkei genkai or possessing all five nature affinities. They also wouldn’t know that an invisible dragon who didn’t possess any chakra was always following him around.)

“…How annoying.”

The said civilian—Cale who was now officially known as Uzumaki Kei was sighing the moment he teleported away from the Sand Village.

—Human, I’m glad that Gaara is all well now! He’s a pretty good and cool kid!

Well, he agreed with Raon. Despite being such a brutal and vicious kid, he has a good heart. After the seal was fixed, he was just like any other normal kid. Full of innocence, warmth and goodness, albeit a little awkward.
