Ruhi had physically recovered; three weeks had passed since her return home from treatment. Her external wounds had healed, but the internal turmoil still lingered, unseen and unchecked. The anguish within her remained, a heavy burden she couldn't shake.
Gone were the tears that once flowed freely, and her bright smile was now a distant memory. Instead, each day began and ended with a hauntingly blank expression, a mask that concealed her true emotions.
With exams looming, Ruhi immersed herself in her studies, spending most of her time confined to her room. Her parents were relieved to see their daughter focused on her education again, but an unsettling sadness crept in, mingling with their concern.
Ruhi had begun to withdraw from her family, responding to questions with curt "yes" or "no" answers, before retreating to the solitude of her room, her face a stoic mask. The silence was deafening, and her parents couldn't help but feel the weight of her unspoken pain.
Her eyes, once bright and full of life, now seemed dull and lifeless, a window to a soul struggling to find its way back to the light. The distance between Ruhi and her loved ones grew, a chasm filled with unspoken words, unshed tears, and the echoes of her unresolved sorrow.
