YOU GOT HOME LATE in the evening after spending all day with Sakusa. Sakusa had taken you out to eat and paid for your meal. He dropped you off home and before leaving he carried your bags up to your room.
There is less than four days before the formal and you were more than impatient. Not only were you impatient but you were also nervous, what would people think when they see you with Sakusa? His fan girls never bothered you before but could being his date make you a target?
You tried not to think too hard about the what ifs and the maybe's. You felt secure being the one lucky enough to take Sakusa to his first dance. Still, you could not wait to see him in his suit. The thought made you feel silly, you never cared so much about dances but Sakusa made it feel different he made you want to go.

You mentally face palmed a million times and stared at the 'read' text under the message you sent. There were no text bubbles appearing, was he really going to leave it at that?
You groan and shove your face into your pillow. How embarrassing is it to tell some guy who isn't even your soulmate that you just wanted to talk to him? You have reached a new low.
No notification sounds were coming from your phone and you assumed that this was the end of your friendship. Of course you blew it by scaring him away with an embarrassing text.

Your face heats up because of his attempt to be flirty..? It's honestly hard for you to tell if he is trying to flirt or if he just truly is that dense. You told him that you wanted to talk because you liked his company and in response he called you. He knew to make your heart flutter.
