The Lost Princesses

PROLOGUE

Once upon a time in a faraway land that sore high above the sky is a kingdom called "Aether". It's known to be home to creatures we all thought are just some character in a child's bedtime story. Do you know what they are?

Legends say that the kingdom of Aether is inhabited by fairies, all have different powers and aspects. But there were a particular group of fairies that ruled among them, the royal family of fairies. Born among the highest and most powerful bloodline.

Along time ago five royal fairy princesses were born all having different but strong magical powers of their own.

The oldest sera has the magic power of ice. She also have the gift of telekinesis and the sight of precognition. She is kind hearted but a timid fairy that makes others misunderstood her as a cold hearted fairy. She acts like a mother towards her siblings.

The second princess Celeste has the magic power of fire. She also has the ability to teleport any object or living thing wherever she wanted and she has the gift of being able to control shadows. She, like her power of fire is a hotheaded fairy even the smallest things can get to her to be pissed, but she is kind and understanding when it comes to her sisters.

The third princess Selene has the magic power of water. She also has the gift of controlling anyone and anything with her voice and she has the ability to mimic anyone's powers. She is kind hearted and silly, she always make the atmosphere light and always makes her sisters happy even in terms of hard situations. She always gives hope to her sisters.

The fourth princess Hestia has the magic power of wind. She also has the ability to alther her appearance or in simple term she can shapeshift and she also has the ability to create illusions. She is elegant and warm-hearted, she always make sure to check if her sisters were okay.

And last but not the least the youngest princess Elvina has the the magic power of earth. She also has the gift of healing and invisibility. She is mischievous and and often causes trouble for her sisters, but she is a kind and loving sister. She likes to be quite clingy to them and she always put a smile to their faces and despite her being mischievous she is well loved and taken care of by her older sisters.

The five of them has the ability to communicate to each other telepathically.

The five of them used to be the pillars protecting the kingdom of Aether from all harms on behalf of their mother and father the king and the queen of the kingdom, but a terrible incident occured when one day a great evil has risen. The once before sealed away creatures of the dark began to haunt their kingdom and the humans fighting for power and dominance.

The five fairy princesses manage to suppress the darkness but befall a terrible fate. As the the darkness falls back to their kingdom way under, the five princesses also fell to the human world leaving their castle in the sky and never to be seen again.

"Rumor has it that the fairies of the kingdom "Aether" are still looking for them up until this day" eunchae said whispering like a child scaring someone.

"Hayss eunchae how old are you to still believe in those stories" chaewon asked somehow annoyed.

"How do you know their just stories?"

"Oh come on it's time to wake up to reality eunchae"

"Both of you stop arguing and sit here, dinner is ready" kura said.

Eunchae sat on a seat next to kazuha.

"Sis do you believe in fairies?" Eunchae asked kazuha.

"Um not really"

"Why? They seem real to me"

"I don't know they kind of just not really make sense to exist in this world" kazuha replied.

"Stop talking about fairies already and just eat your meal" kura strictly pointed on the plates in front of them.

"Where's yunjin?"

"On her phone making some random tiktok video again" chaewon pointed in the living room.

"Yunjin come here and eat"

"Okay sis" yunjin said

"Did you guys already packed your things?" Kura asked.

"Yup" everyone said in unison.

"Geez sometimes big sis kura can be quite strict" eunchae said in her mind.

"I can hear you eunchae" kura said looking at eunchae sharply.

"Geez sometimes I keep forgetting we can talk to each other telepathically" yunjin added.

"That's right we can talked to each other telepathically and you guys still don't believe in fairies?" Eunchae mumbled and pouted as she say those words.

"I want to be one of the fairies in the book I'm reading"

"Let me guess you want to be Elvina?" Kazuha replied to eunchae.

"You guys actually are kind of similar" yunjin added.

"I know, right?" Eunchae smiled happily.

"Yeah, you both are troublemakers" chaewon replied.

Eunchae just rolled her eyes and pouted.

"Well someone's grumpy" yunjin said.

"Stop it sis, by the way where are we going big sis kura?" Eunchae said.

"We're going camping near a beach"

"Beach? Yay we can swim" yunjin said.

"Make sure your all packed up, were leaving early in the morning" kura added.

"By the way sis, do you remember anything from ten years ago?" Yunjin asked.

"You mean ten years ago before our foster parents adopted us?" Chaewon said.

"Yeah, like we're we actually came from?"

"They said that they found us here in the woods near a lake, so they assumed that we may had been on an accident" kazuha said.

"They tried to find out where we came from by reporting to the police but they found nothing, that's why they decided to just adopt us" kura said.

"They also gave us new names because we seem to not remember anything from our past at all" eunchae said.

"Okay okay stop with this conversation and prepare to go to bed now, we have to leave early" kura once again said.

That night the girls prepared to go to bed with a mind full of questions about who they are and where they came from, and where did they get their strange ability.
