The Lost Princesses

Chapter 5

"A lot has happened today, rest well and tomorrow your training will begin" heesung said as he began walking out of the room.

"Wait? Training?" Yunjin asked making heesung stop in his track.

"Why must you question everything?" Jay massaged his head as he looked over to yunjin.

"It's better to be safe than sorry, duh" yunjin then proceeded to roll her eyes on him.

"Duhhhhh" jay mimicked yunjin's words in an irritating attitude.

"Will the both of you ever stop arguing?" Sunoo then interrupts their little fight.

"She's right to question everything we say, after all we kidnapped them" sunoo added.

Jay just shut his mouth as he remembers the fact that the five of them are just forced into the mess they are currently in.

"Fine, I'll let you win this time" jay said with a hint of guilt in his eyes.

"Ahem, what we're you saying about the training?" Chaewon impatiently asked.

"Because of the rising forces against us, I believe it's better to help you regain your powers" heesung replied.

"We're going to learn how to use magic?" Eunchae excitedly exclaimed.

"Well you're not learning it, because magic can't really be learned, you're more likely bringing out your own potentials and mastering it" Niki responded.

"NO!" Sakura yelled loud enough to echo through the whole hallway.

"Enough of this nonsense, just take us back to our house" kurra coldly said.

"But this is where you belong" Jungwon replied.

"Stop this please, if this is some kind of prank, it has gone out of control"

"The evidence is clear, sera. Why do you keep insisting that all of this is not real?" Heesung then replied.

"Don't call me sera, That's not my name" Sakura shouted with a hint of confusion and desperation in her eyes.

"You know something..." heesung wasn't able to finish his words when she shouted once more.

"ENOUGH! I've already told you to stop with your nonsense. Fairies ha! How laughable, we're not a couple of children who will fall into your antics" Sakura yelled as her tone started to become sarcastic.

Everyone looked at Sakura until she fell down and bursted out of tears on the ground.

"I-i-i just wanted them to live a normal life, far from all the chaos of our worlds"

Everyone was shocked by Sakura's sudden confession, but no one dared to speak a word.

"Why? Why must you break that illusion?" Kurra's voice broke as she said those words.

"What do you mean, unnie?" Kazuha said confused.

"I'm sorry, i-i-i just wanted to protect you. I wanted you to see a better world, a more peaceful one, far from the war and chaos of this one"

"I don't get it? You're a great actress, unnie. Come on this is a prank right?" Eunchae looked at kurra with hopeful eyes, as though she was waiting for her to say it's all just a bad joke.

"Stop it eunchae, it's her" chaewon coldly replied.

"What do you mean? Come on chaewon unnie, you're one of the accomplice too right?" Chaewon didn't reply on her plea.

"Right?" Eunchae's voice was trembling and in the brink of crying.

"She caused our memory lost" chaewon replied with no emotions.

"Unnie won't do that, right?" Eunchae pleaded once more.

Everyone just fell silent as they knew that chaewon was right.

"Stop it, eunchae. She's right" Sakura's voice was coarse and low.

"But why? It was an accident"

"It wasn't an accidental. In battle ten years ago, all of you was injured and was falling down through a hole in the barrier between aether and the human world. The seven princes of darkness used their remaining strengths to teleport themselves back to Eiros while you four are unconscious because of your injuries, that's when I decided to use that timing to get you out of aether. I used my powers to shield you from the fall, making sure you weren't going to get hurt even further. Then I used my remaining strength to gather my powers and erase your memories" kurra then bitterly unfolded everything that happened in the last battle they fought.

"I didn't mean any harm, I just wanted you to live a normal life because I saw you all tired and worn out. Not being able to have friends like other, not being able to start a family of your own, and worst is not being able to be with the person you love"

Everyone was silent as they discovered the bitter truth that has been kept for over a decade.

"For now, just head back to your bedroom and rest. We will talk about this matter tomorrow" heesung ordered everyone as the situation was getting out of hand.

The five of them went back to their bedroom and the seven princes stayed frozen on the scene.

"Damn, one revelation after another. My minds going to explode" jake then blabbed.

"So your telling me all this time, sera has known?" Sung Hoon then asked.

"She has always been cunning and manipulative. I just didn't know she would do something this big" heesung smirked as he said those things.

"She shouldn't have done that" niki said with darkness visible in his face.

"She has her reasons" heesung tried to defend her but Niki argued back.

"Even so, her sisters had the right to choose their fate. Just because she thinks it would be better for them doesn't mean that it's right" Niki then walked away.

"Elvina's disappearance has impacted Niki a lot" Jungwon said.

"That's right, ever since she disappeared, it's like he lost his reason to live" sunoo added.

"Well, their absence has impacted our lives whether we admit it or not. Whether it be because they are our enemies or because of some other reasons" Jake said in a serious tone.

Those words had visibly impacted all of them even though they didn't show it through their faces.
