The Lost Princesses

CHAPTER 3

"sit down" heesung pointed at the empty seats on the long dining table.

The girls followed heesung's instructions and carefully sat down one by one. While the boys began eating they noticed that the girls aren't touching their food.

*IN THEIR MIND*
"Don't eat any of the food" kurra said.

"Why? I'm hungry unnie" Eunchae replied.

"Really, eunchae. That's all you've got on your mind" chaewon scolded eunchae.

"Why can't we?" Zuha asked.

"It might be poisoned" kurra replied.

"Kurra unnie has a point, we better keep our guard up" yunjin added.

While the girls stare into each other talking through their telepathic powers, heesung began asking them questions.

"What's the matter? Does it not suit your taste?" Heesung asked.

"That's not it" kurra replied.

"Then what?" Jay replied sounding a bit annoyed.

"Hayss just tell them what you really think unnie, it's hard playing mind games" chaewon replied.

"What is it?" Hee asked once more.

"Kurra unnie thinks that the food might be poisonous" eunchae replied while smiling innocently.

"It's crazy how you can smile like that while saying something so terrifying, you're so similar to sunoo" Jake blabbed while having a kind of terrified but amused reaction.

"It's not poisoned, why would you even think that?" Hee signed and just closed his eyes while swiftly taking a sip of his wine.

"Um, maybe it's the fact that we're literally kidnapped?" Yunjin rolled her eyes.

"Well technically you're not kidnapped because you're not kids anymore, it's more like adultnap" Jake replied.

"That's the lamest thing I've ever heard" jay said.

"Aw come on, it's not that bad" Jake argues like a child.

"All jokes aside, it's not poisoned" sunoo butted in.

"Fine, you girls should eat" kurra signaled to the girls to begin eating.

"Yay" eunchae cheered and began digging in.

"Now, will you finally answers our questions?" Kurra glared at heesung.

"I suppose you won't stop asking anyways" heesung replied.

"You and I are enemies" heesung pointed at kurra.

"That's a given, tell me something I don't know" kurra continues to ask.

"The five of you are fairy princesses, once so high and mighty. But like every fairytale your story came to an end when you became the heroes who sacrificed their life's to defeat the villain. In the end you fell into the human world never to be seen again until just yesterday when we finally found you guys" heesung explained.

"Hyung, why are you telling them? Aren't we supposed to keep them clueless about it?" Jay asked confused.

"It's fine, jay. I've got everything under control" hee replied.

"And you want us to believe in your stupid fairytale?" Chaewon shouted.

"I'm only telling the truth, it's up to you whether you believe it or not" heesung politely replied.

"How did you found us?" Kurra narrowed her eyes.

"We detected a use of power from one of you" jungwon replied.

"Power? Then you have the wrong people, we don't have powers. We're humans" chaewon replied nervously.

"Really?" Jake looked at chaewon suspiciously.

"Then why do you sound so nervous" Jake added.

"No, I'm not. What you're saying are pure nonsense" chaewon pushed her hands against the table as she stands up shouting at Jake.

Suddenly a trail of fire surrounded the dining table making them all stand up. Jake went to chaewon and pulled her away from the fire. All of them went out of the dining room.

"What was that? Since when where you able to do that?" Kurra looked at chaewon asking for answers.

Chaewon remained silent looking down on the floor, she feels bad as she keeps blaming herself for putting her sisters in danger.

"It was her powers that we detected, I believe it was that time when she burned down her school's garden" heesung said making chaewon burst into tears.

"I'm sorry, It's all my fault. If I wasn't so hotheaded we wouldn't be in this situation" chaewon covered her face and continued crying.

"It's not your fault unnie, you didn't know" eunchae run towards chaewon pulling her for a hug. Soon the other three also joined them.

"Okay, so we're fairies as you said. Then what's it for you guys? As far as I can comprehend you're not one of us" kurra turned to the boys and asked once more.

"To make it simple, you're basically our hostage" heesung replied.

"Why?" Kurra confusedly asked.

"I thought you're smart I guess I overestimated you. It's because you are fairy princesses and I'm sure that your clan will risk everything to save you and so we're taking advantage of that" heesung then revealed a grim smile on his face.

"But do not worry nothing bad will happen to you guys as long as your clan do everything what we asked them" heesung added.

"Why can't you just leave us alone, we don't even remember everything" yunjin shouted.

"We don't even have an idea about what you guys are taking about" zuha added.

"You seemed awfully quiet little one?" Sunoo said that made the others turn their gaze on eunchae.

"Perhaps you've started to remember?" Sunoo even added.

Eunchae just looked down unable to answer his question.

"Is it true? You're memories are coming back?" Niki step forward looking straight at eunchae's face as if it regained light that gives life to his hopeless looking eyes.

"I don't" eunchae's words was sharper that a knife cutting of the sprouting hope in Niki's eyes.

"Perhaps you've dream of the one you used to be?" Jungwon added.

"How…?" Eunchae couldn't finish up her words as confusion started clouding up her judgements.

"Just a hunch, since when you woke up earlier you were screaming you're old name" Jungwon added.

Now it's clear to eunchae that all of her dreams and nightmares aren't just some ideas she got from the fairytale stories she always read but in fact came from the memories of who she used to be and the phrase "go back to the path you used to take" actually meant to go back to the home they used to protect.
