chapter 6

MCKAY POV

I spend 2 whole weeks in that horrible prison, with Max checking on me and giving me food.   It was a Monday when Jacob come to my cell, holding handcrafts with a magical spell... I can't break out of them and they tighten each time I move. So I have to walk carefully.

Jacob- it's time for your royal highness to go tell her side of the story.

McKay- about time!

Jacob- hmm you have no idea what awaits you... Come let's go.

I got up and he put the crafts on, he did not push me. He stood back and had patience with me, I took my time waking to the court. There were elders, alpha's I have never seen, my father, my brother's, uncle Lucas, vampire elders and sub pack leaders. And my grandparents.

Father and Zayne looking at each other with nothing but hate. I exhaled, and walked in. I took the stand and the pack apha being my brother addressed the court.

Zayne- we are all here to give judgement to McKay who is accused of premeditated kidnapping or possibly murder of our queen.

Premeditated? Murder? I did not plan on her getting taken or any of this. I looked at father who looked everywhere but at me.

Zayne- but before that, we will give McKay the chance to make her statement then each person will be give time to ask questions to help in their decision making.... McKay you may speak.

I was nervous, I don't know how any of this work. I don't know the punishment so it's nerve-racking to say the least.

McKay- I did not plan on mother being taken-

Dominic- speak only to what you can proof... Whether or not you plan this, is yet to be determined.

The coldness in his voice was beyond me....

McKay- oh ok... Well I want to town to get some air and have fun. Mother come to  get me and we had a misunderstanding. Words were said, then I might have pushed her but it was because I was mad at here. Then some guy named Maddock come and mother pushed me to Zayne and then Zayne growled and we took off. Him and Max killed a few of them as we made our way out. And we got here and suddenly I am a killer.

Everyone looked at me like I was crazy, I mean I was not going to tell them I hit her repeatedly. Called her weak and a bitch. I am not that stupid, besides I did not get her kidnapped. Zayne looked around and cleared his throat.

Zayne- we will start with the elders... Then alpha's including both vampire and wolfs and then the king will go last.

The elders asked and it was no hard questions, it was about my relationship with mother.

Elder 1- is it true you never got along with your mother?

Elder 2- how is your relationship with your brother's and the pack?

You get the just of it, then alpha were no different... Just less about my mother.

Alpha 1- I heard you train alone why?

Apha 2- why do you hate wolf? But also don't seem to get along with vampires?

I answered the best I could without growling or rolling my eyes. It was difficult, but I managed just fine. Then father come, but...

Dominic- I will give my time to Zayne...

McKay- father?.

Dominic- alpha King Dominic is fine.

I have never felt this much pain in my life, he wants me to call him alpha king? I mean yes he is but he has always been father to me. I was fighting tears, but Zayne was out for blood and did not care.
