"The moon is much closer to us than you and I could ever imagine, young man." George stated.

"It's just this void of empty space that prevents us from crossing or ever touching the sky." he added while panning out the direction of the stars.

"You see, young man, you can defy what's preventing us from touching up high. It's just, you're afraid of falling down in this impeccable mount of rock."

For a few seconds there stood complete and utter silence, then Icho relaxed himself down for a moment before getting a breather.

"Am I still able to fly high, dad?" Icho asked while reaching out his hand.

"I'm sure you would, son." he replied.

Icho took a deep breath before letting go of his hand. He then took another last breath before placing himself in an outstretched position.

Closing his eyes, he deliberately focused on his happiest memories. The ones that would last lifetime upon lifetime.

For a split second he was in complete tranquility, the ambience and noise were vanquished by the hyper fixated imagination of a kid.

For a few seconds...

And then...

He did...

He controlled his flight.

"Look dad!" he said aloud.

He was in complete control of his levitation. His dad was smiling down from the ground, looking up at his sheer strength to fly.

His dad believed that with concentration, you can defeat the anxious feeling you get from the fear of heights.

But every aspect of life has to be determined carefully or risk the consequences it will take. This time however, things were about to change when Icho breathed in just ever-so-slightly longer so that he had the chance to lose his balance and concentration. His breathing became irregular, his eyes had weakened its white glow, and his heartbeat began to pump faster.

This was it, the moment Icho had faltered to his greatest fear. It was for a few seconds he stood there in the air, before...

The boy who flies is scared of heights.

He opened his arms, only to fall down into the ground below.

- 10 Years Later -

"Icho, wake up, we don't wanna be late for visiting day." George calmly voiced while peering on Icho's room.

"Go away."

Icho's room was turdy as litter, with clothes and garbage and brim with junk. Although his dad despises mess, he was aloof from all of this trash.

"Can't you clean up your room?"

"I said go away." Icho yelled from his bed.

It was ten minutes before seven, and Icho was the only one who was not ready yet for the trip.

"Icho, come on, just for once."

"Why are you always like this?" Icho replied.

Ten years had passed before the flight incident had occurred. Icho never trusted his dad ever since then. Plus, how could you fly when that old memory had faded long before you could ever say goodbye to it.

He had lost his ability ever since. So does his memory of using his innate power.

"Can we get over this again and settle this down for tomorrow, right now all you have to do is to come." George asked.
