"Lilith, can you please come down dear?" Her father's voice was heard in the whole house.

"Be there in a minute Dad!" She replied, loud enough for him to hear.

Her hair was wet and a towel was wrapped around her body. She just took an hour-long shower and was not feeling amazing.

Lilith looked through her clothes and found some short green shorts and a green oversized hoodie.

She let her hair air dry, being too lazy to do it herself.

Eh, I'll dry it after I talk with Dad, I don't want him to wait.

She opened the door and ran down the stairs quickly, saying 'hello' or 'hi' to the maids and the guards.

"Morning Dad!" Lilith smiled and wrapped her hands around his neck. He smiled and said 'good morning' back.

"Sweetie, I want to talk to you about tonight," he said with a smile but with a sad tone.

"Of course, is everything alright?" She asked, worried. Mostly her father informs her about anything at least 2 days before.

"There's nothing to worry about, I just want you to know that some people will be joining us for dinner"

"Oh, okay. Anything else?" She asked with a smile.

"Just one thing, I don't want you to get extremely close to them. They're not good people, Lilith," Dad said in a serious tone.

Her dad owns a jewelry line and sometimes the clients join them for lunch or dinner.

"Okay, I'll do my best" Lilith looked down then looked up at her dad and smiled, he smiled back.

"Here's your breakfast Miss," Wanda, one of the maids, said as she placed the plate full of food on the table.

"Ohh, actually Wanda I'm not hungry. Uh— you can eat it or give it to someone else, I don't mind. It's your decision." She smiled at her.

"Okay, Miss." Wanda smiled.

Lilith was about to go back to her room when she had a quick craving. "Do we have any strawberries?"

"Yes, Miss."

"Could you get me some?" Lilith smiled at her sweetly.

Once Wanda nodded her head, telling her she would, Lilith ran up the stairs.

Lilith wanted to get into her bed, make herself comfy, and read.

She looked around the room, her eyes landing on her book. She smirked as she picked up the book.

Lilith also grabbed her wired headphones and phone of course.

She put the headphones on and turned on the playlist. 'Francis Forever' by Mitski started playing.

Soon, Wanda came in with a bowl of strawberries. On the side, there were some cut bananas, blueberries, and some strawberry yogurt.

"Thank you so much, Wanda! You're the best!" Lilith exclaimed as she popped one strawberry into her mouth.

Wanda smiled, nodding her head before walking out.

Lilith spends about 70% of her time on her phone and the other 30% reading the book.
