The next morning, Lilith woke up early, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

She got up from her bed and headed towards her bathroom.

The first thing she did was start the shower, letting the warm water relax her tense muscles.

As she stepped under the stream, she let the water run over her body, washing away the night's stress.

She shampooed and conditioned her hair, taking her time to make sure every strand was clean.

Finally, she finished up her shower and stepped out, wrapping herself in a fluffy towel.

Lilith dried herself off quickly and walked back into her room.

She stood in front of her closet, contemplating what to wear.

She had been informed that her father had taken care of the dress for her, so she didn't have to worry about that.

After a few moments of rummaging through her clothes, she found the dress her father had bought for her.

She held it up, admiring it in the light. It was perfect, exactly what she had imagined in her dream.

She smiled, feeling a sense of excitement mixed with anxiety.

The gala was tonight.

Lilith hung the dress up on a hanger, admiring it one more time. She then tore her gaze away from the beautiful dress and focused on what she needed to do next.

It was still early in the day, the gala wasn't until the evening. She needed to start her day.

She changed into comfortable clothes and left her room, heading towards the kitchen for breakfast.

As Lilith entered the kitchen, the warm smell of waffles and strawberries filled her senses. Wanda had prepared a breakfast fit for royalty.

"Good morning, sweetheart," Wanda said, a warm smile on her face. "Did you sleep well?"

She gestured to the plate of waffles and strawberries she had prepared.

Lilith smiled back, her nervousness temporarily forgotten. "Yes, thank you," she replied as she sat down at the table.

She took a bite of the waffle, the sweetness of the strawberries mixing perfectly with the fluffy waffle.

Lilith, feeling guilty about all the food Wanda had made, spoke up.

"Wanda," she said, gesturing to the extra waffles on the plate. "You should eat too. You've made so much. Dad doesn't eat breakfast anyway."

Wanda, although initially reluctant, finally gave in and sat down to join Lilith at the table.

The two of them enjoyed their breakfast together, chatting and laughing. It was a moment of normalcy amidst the nerves of the upcoming gala.

After they finished eating, Wanda began cleaning up the kitchen. Lilith offered to help, but Wanda shooed her away, telling her to go.

Lilith left the kitchen feeling grateful for Wanda's kindness and warm presence.

Wanda called out after her, "Don't forget to send me a picture of yourself in that dress your father bought for you."

Lilith laughed and agreed, feeling the excitement building up again.

Lilith decided to make the most of her free time before the gala. She went to her room to change into her swimsuit and grabbed a towel and a book.
